Title of Activity: SPORTS FEST
Rationale/Background: what is the purpose of sports and play?
In and through sport and play we connect and build relationship of learners with their peers and make lasting
friendship. They meet and crate community through sports and play whether be at a
playground, in a sports club or with a team. Sports bring learners together and
facilitates relationship building both on and off the field. In sports it takes different
forms- teammates, fans and yes, rivals but in the end they will learn that would be
useful for them to present limitless education.
As to administrators, we constantly learn, grow and engage in educational process with our athletes and
fellows also. Through self-reflection sports administrators strive to grow their teams and
organization. In sports and play we see clear purpose and role of education and the
learning process for all stakeholders.
