Tree of classification

What is the tree of classification ?

The tree of classification is not real tree, it is tool to show how all species are
connected from one common ancestor. It shows that life has evolved countless
times throughout billions of years, those evolutions resulted to see different and
unique species.

It's believed that all life started from one common ancestor, which has reproduced
and evolved through different habitats.
What are the main branches of the tree of life ?
Domain : the main branches in the tree of classification

Life is divided into three different domains: Bacteria, Archaea and Eukarya.
Bacteria and Archaea only consists of microscopic celled organisms, that means
you can't see it with the naked eye. Eukarya also has microscopic celled
organisms but is also consists some of the kingdoms like Plants, Animal, Protist
and Fungi. A long time ago archaea wasn't a domain because it featured some of
the the same traits that bacteria. had.
Eukarya
Domain for all organisms that has a nucleus in their cell(s). They have a small
cellular structure called organelles. Organelles are small structures that performs a
job, for example in the case plants perform photosynthesis. It contains some of the
kingdom of life here are some pictures:

● Fungi
● Animal
Archaea
Archaea are prokaryotes, that means they lack a nucleus. They consist of
microscopic organisms that we know little about. They were originally found in
extreme environments and that's where extremophiles were discovered. They are
now more common to live in average environments. But Many can survive in
extreme temperatures, or highly salted water.
Bacteria (Eubacteria)
These microorganisms date back till more than 3.5 billion years ago.
Some form of Bacteria can cause diseases and some helps you.
Bacteria are important for multiple reasons:

1. They help decompose food and animals

2. They help animals digest food

One form of bacteria are called Extremophiles, they live in places in

the we (humans) couldn't live at. The live from the hottest to the
coldest places on Earth.
How are all life related ?
My theory :

All life started from one common ancestor, that ancestor has evolved and
reproduced in different environments to change their structure. This doesn't just
happen in thousands of years, it happens in millions of years. They adapt over time
and change their internal and external structure. They have explored the world and
expanded across the globe
How are species classified (taxonomy) ? Interactive tree of life

Taxonomy means classifying, arranging and naming organisms.

In biology, classification is a process to identify where the organisms are in the

tree of classification. The taxonomy is multi layered, that means there are
multiple groups. The highest level: Domain, the biggest group and the most
general. At the top there isn't that much relationship, but at the bottom all
organisms have VERY close similarities.
How is Natural selection related to the Tree of classification ?
My theory :

Species are used to their habitats, so if one day suddenly their habitats changed
they would struggle to survive. They could survive if they meet the exceptions to
survive, but if they don't meet the expectations then they would die won't be able
to reproduce and they that might go extinct. If the species survive then that means
they adapted to the conditions to live in their habitats. Then they would have
babies identical to them, and then they would reproduce again, after it the species
that evolved get discovered they will be researched and be placed in the tree of
classification.
Glossary
Someone related to us who lived a long time ago

● Common Ancestor

Home for organisms

● Habitat

Anything that surrounds us (humans) or other species

● Environment

Seeing something without using any tool to make it clearer or closer to see the object

● Naked eye
Something that's not visible, for example personality

● Internal

Something that is on the outside, for example I have black hair

● External

Something that is same or similar to another object

● Identical
