TRI- SEAL 307
Flexible Protective and Waterproofing coat
Description
Tri-Seal 307 comprises a two component polymer modified
cementatious coating supplied in ready powder form to
mix kits
Tri-Seal 307 can be simply applied by stiff brush, roller
spray or trowel to obtain the desired texture.
Tri-Seal 307 is a Polymer modified protective and waterproofing
coating.
The coating shall comprise specially selected cements ,
graded, hard wearing aggregates and additives supplied
in powder form together with a liquid component of blended
polymers and wetting agents .
The total dry film thickness of the coating shall be not less than 2 mm and shall be capable
of providing resistance to wear and weather, diesel oil, gasoline, chlorides de-icing salts, effluents.
It shall exhibit positive water pressure resistance up to 20 meter head, and negative water
pressure resistance up to 10 meter dependent on coating thickness.
Tri-Seal 307 has been tested in accordance to: ASTM (C321/C307/C580)BS 6920
The product is certified by National Organization for Potable water &Sanitary Drainage.
The product is certified by National Research Center.
Design criteria
The coating should be applied in two coats to achieve a total dry film thickness
of not less than 2mm.
Areas subjected to light foot traffic should receive minimum 2mm thickness and
an additional 2mm coating should be applied to areas of moderate to heavy
pedestrian conditions.
Uses
Tri-Seal 307 To protect atmospherically exposed reinforced concrete structures
from attack chloride ions, oxygen and as a waterproofing.
The product is also suitable to protect other cementitious substrates
And masonary for new and existing structures.
Tri-Seal 307 is used as waterproofing coat in the following structures:
• Sewage concrete tanks.

Directions for use
Surface preparation
All surfaces should be dry and free from contamination such as oil, grease, loose particles
Decayed matter, laitance, all traces of mould release and curing compound.
This is best achieved by lightly grit-blasting the surface.
It is essential that all surfaces to be treated or be soaked with clean water prior to application
Mixing
Pour the liquid part in a bucket then add the powder gradually and mix with suitable
Electrical mixer till getting suitable consistency.
Small quantities can be mixed by hand in a bucket.
Large quantities can be mixed by Mixer.

While the surface is still damp apply the mixed product to the well prepared
Surface of concrete or masonry by brush, broom or spray. Apply two
Coats as required Perpendicular.
Curing
In severe hot temperature and/or wind, protective shielding should be apply.
Protect newly applied product against direct sunlight, wind, rain and frost.

Cleaning
All tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Hardened material can
be removed mechanically .
Package
Pack = 25 Kg consists of :- Powder =20 Kg Liquid = 5 Kg
Shelf Life
12 months if kept in a dry store in the original unopened packs.
Storage
Store the material in a cool, covered dry place. Do not expose the pails to direct
sunlight and keep away from all sources of heat.
Health and Safety
Contains cement powders ,which when mixed or become damp , release alkalis
which can be harmful to the skin .
During application, should avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes.
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protective
equipment In case of contact with skin, rinse with plenty of clean water then clean
with soap and water.
