GENERAL ASSESSMENT INFORMATION
Wizz Air Pilot Recruitment assessment
events are planned for months ahead.
Our intention is to give the possibility to
candidates to choose the most suitable slot
in the upcoming month or to be able to
reschedule the event within the given
upcoming month.
(see next pages)
Should you be unable to join us in the
assessment’s month you are invited for,
please decline the invitation (see next
pages) and you will be automatically
considered for invitation to the next
available slot for maximum three occasions.
In case you decline your attendance three
times (unable to choose any slots for three
months time), your application might be
reconsidered in line with our recruitment
needs.
In case you are unable or not willing to join
our events as per above, please withdraw
your application and re-submit once you are
available to make further steps with your
application.

We can provide limited slots for each event,
should you be unable to apply for one of
them due to overbooking, we suggest you
to return and check the available slots later
or wait until you get invited for the next
month’s assessments. These cases will not
be considered as declining the event.

GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE ASSESSMENT
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
Candidates are required to present the following documentation throughout
their assessment.
• Valid passport or ID card - mandatory
• Certificate of highest level education (minimum secondary school level) -
mandatory
• Class 1 Aeromedical Certificate, if obtained
• Copy of criminal record (from less than 1 month ago), if obtained
• Private Pilot License, if obtained
• Pilot Logbook, in case of previous flight experience
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
The arrangement and the cost of the travel & accommodation during
the assessment process should be covered by the candidate.
HOW TO SIGN IN FOR THE EVENT
Proceed to Wizz Air’s Career Site and sign in with the credentials you have used for
registration.
Once logged in, go to „MY INTERVIEWS” and you will see the number of available
recruitment events in the upcoming period, click on „SELECT” then a calendar will appear.
Here you can choose the first day of the suitable assessment at your convenience until
slots are available. The second day is on the next calendar day subject to successful
completion of the first day.
When you choose the slot, a pop-up window will appear and you can submit your
application with „BOOK INTERVIEW” button, your assessment will be confirmed at this
moment by an automatic e-mail.

HOW TO RESCHEDULE THE EVENT
Should you decide to reschedule the interview in the given month:
Navigate to „MY INTERVIEWS” tab and click on „RESCHEDULE” option. Now you can
choose between the available options, once you finished click on reschedule interview.

HOW TO CANCEL THE EVENT
Should you decide to cancel the already booked interview:
Navigate to „MY INTERVIEWS” tab and click on „CANCEL INTERVIEW” option. In the pop-
up window you can send us the cancellation..
IMPORTANT: Once you cancelled the event, you will not be able to participate in any of
the published events in the same month. Should you wish to reschedule your
participation, please see „HOW TO RESCHEDULE THE EVENT” page.
You will be automatically considered for invitation to the next available slot. In case you
decline your attendance three times (unable to choose any slots for three months time),
your application might be reconsidered in line with our recruitment needs.

HOW TO DECLINE THE EVENT
In case none of the given assessment slots are suitable for you, before booking any of the
events, you have the possibility to decline the invitation for the given month, by clicking
on „DECLINE”.
IMPORTANT: Once you have declined the event, you will not be able to participate at
any of the published events in the same month.
You will be automatically considered for invitation to the next available slot for maximum
three occasions. In case you decline your attendance three times (unable to choose any
slots for three months time), your application might be reconsidered in line with our
recruitment needs.

HOW TO WITHDRAW & RESUBMIT
APPLICATION
In case you are unable or not willing to join our events for the upcoming few months,
please withdraw your application and re-submit once you are available.
To withdraw your application, navigate to jobs applied
Choose the job and scroll down to the bottom and click on „WITHDRAW APPLICATION”.
Once you are able to proceed with your application again, navigate to the same page and
choose „RESUBMIT APPLICAITON”
IMPORTANT: If you withdraw your application, please note the recruitment fee is not
refundable in any case. 8
DETAILS OF THE ASSESSMENT
The selection process consists of several tests and interviews through stages
across consecutive days which allows assessors to verify candidate’s flying
capabilities and personality traits before starting the training.
Such a detailed assessment maximizes individual’s chance of successfully
completing the Wizz Air Pilot Academy programme.
STAGE 1
Pilot Aptitude Test (TestAir 360)
Applicants will take part in a pilot aptitude and screening test which
assesses candidates’ psychomotor and psycho-technical skills.
It consists of several steps, such as, eye-hand coordination, short-
term memory, mental arithmetic, spatial orientation, task
management skills, competency of Maths, Physics and English.

Personality questionnaire
The second step of the recruitment process is a psychological assessment. This
assessment is designed to measure the candidate’s personality, values,
behavior and attitudes.
Each of the questions are designed by psychologists to identify specific aspects
of the psyche as well as personality or behavioral traits. It is based on a EASA
regulatory requirement to guarantee a safe flight deck environment.

Group Exercise
The aim of the group exercise to see how candidates can understand
and cooperate in complex task under time pressure while measuring
several competencies such as decision making, cooperation skills,
communication skills and leadership responsibility

Personal Interview
This is a chance for us to know and understand applicants`
motivation to join the program and later become a pilot at Wizz Air. We also
would like to find out whether the personality traits match WIZZ culture and
our pilot profile expectations.

Financial Background and Medical Check
Wizz Air financial questionaire will be sent to you after passing the
second day screening. We are going to provide sufficient time to fill the
questionairre and return it to us with the most recent bank account
statements. The purpose of the questionairre is to check your financial
background.
All candidates who pass the second day screening will be required to
submit an EASA Class 1 Medical certificate before signing the contract.
INFORMATION FOR PREPARATION
BASIC PILOT APTITUDES
As part of the Pilot Aptitude Test candidates are provided with four home practice
sessions to prepare for the final supervised test.
The object of the practice session is not just to give a good understanding for
some of the exercises but also to get an overall insight of the individual’s
capabilities and learning curve.
A practice session lasts 60 minutes (only available in the allocated timeframe)
completed online from home prior to the actual assessment. Further details
(entry details, starting instructions, important notes) shared due course via e-
mail from TestAir Team (please check SPAM folder).
The results of the practice sessions will be reviewed during STAGE 4 of
actual assessment to evaluate the improvement of skills.
Please note that the practice tests are not mandatory to complete but we
highly recommend as the candidates can get familiar with some of the
modules and it also can help them to achieve a better result on the final
supervised test.
In addition, please bring your calculator to the recruitment event (to be used
for the Math & Physics part of the pilot aptitude test).

The Training Center is accessible on road by car, route between
BUD International Airport and the building is depicted on the
map below.
The Training Center is also accessible by public transport:

Bus stop: “Kupeczky Janos utca”
PARKING
Car parking places are available next to the building without
prior request or card for the period of your recruitment
process.
Cars left in the parking for several nights will be transported away at
the cost of the owner of the car.
ACCESS & SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
ACCESS
There is a driveway and a pedestrian gate
available - open during office hours. Outside
of office hours please use the intercom to
gain access.
By the time of arrival, candidates are kindly
asked to proceed to the reception for
registration and temporary ID card
allocation. All candidates will be given with
temporary ID upon presenting their
passport or national ID card.
Once holding the temporary ID, candidates
are also required to wait in the main foyer
area of the building before passing security
gates.
SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
As an external guest of the building, pilot recruitment
candidates are not allowed to leave the lobby area and
pass through security gates without escort by any of the
pilot recruitment team representatives.
Candidates are strictly not allowed to enter any offices, simulator
or emergency trainer area or proceed to the upper levels of the
building unless otherwise instructed and escorted.
GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE BUILDING
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
There is a lobby in the building on the ground floor, where you can
spend your time in between the activities.
Free of charge Wi-Fi is available in the building.
FOOD AND REFRESHMENT OPTIONS
Several vending machines are available in the
building, providing fresh water, coffee, snacks
and sandwiches. The machines are equipped
with PayPass paying options.
On the ground floor, there is a dining area equipped with chairs
and tables, vending machines as well as a kitchen corner with
refrigerators and microwaves.
As a basic courtesy, may we kindly ask you to leave all equipment as
clean as you have found, properly stowed.
EMERGENCY INSTRUCTIONS
Wizz Air Simulator and Training Centre has an automatic alarm
system throughout the whole building.
In case of emergency, all candidates are required to follow the
instructions of the representatives of Wizz Air. Evacuation plan is
also part of this material, kindly be examined prior to the event.
Should be there any emergency exercise planned for the day of the
event, candidates will be informed verbally before starting the
recruitment process.
