Guidelines to purchase your child’s school clothing
What size is your child currently wearing – use this as a guideline for your purchase.
Below are the chest/length and waist measurement guidelines to help you to select the
correct sizing. To help you choose the best size, we recommend that you compare the
measurements below with your child’s measurements.
Some of the items are unisex so the fit is for boys and girls. These items are loose fitting.
Measurements are in centimetres.
Grade 1 parents please refer to the last page of the size chart for size suggestions for Grade
1 purchases.
Please use the size chart as a guideline but remember to complete the School Clothes
Requirement form with the actual sizes (eg PE shirt 11-12 & tracktop 8-9). Please bring the
completed School Clothes Requirement form with you when making your purchases.
School uniform
How to measure
Chest: With arms down, measure around the fullest part of the chest. Pass the tape over the
chest, under the arms and around the back, keeping it horizontal to the ground all the way
around.
Waist: Measure around the body at the natural waistline.
½ Waist: This measurement is based on front of short left to right of waist band opening.
Hips: Measure around the body at the fullest part of the seam.
Length: Measurement taken from top of waist elastic to bottom of hem of pants.
