General Instructions:
It is beneficial for you to do the holiday homework for all subjects and be in touch with your books.
Originality of the work will be appreciated.
Project/Homework will be assessed on the basis of neatness, creativity and originality of ideas.
Winter assignments to be done on loose sheets and to be submitted neatly in a folder with name and
class written on it. This may be included in the co- curricular activities.
This assignments will be considered for the co-curricular assessments.

The students need to read the following portions from their text books:

2. Gulliver in Lilliput.
3. A Basketful of Sea trouts.
MATHEMATICS
Revision of real numbers, graphs, area and volume of different shapes, congruence of triangles, types of
quadrilaterals and linear equations.
SCIENCE
PHYSICS
Chapter: Motion
1. NCERT Text book questions.
2. All the Numericals related to the chapter.
3. Graphs of uniform and non-uniform motion on the graph paper as an assignment.
CHEMISTRY
On the loose sheets
1. Write the atomic number, atomic mass and valency of first 20 elements in a tabular form.
2. Learn and write the Valencies of various poly atomic ions given the chapter Atoms and molecules.
BIOLOGY
From the Chapter THE FUNDAMENTAL UNIT OF LIFE, pick any five diagrams that you have come
across in the previous class, and draw each on loose drawing pages of A4 size.
