INTRODUCTION

At BreadInAPan Co., we deeply believed that there’s definitely a need to break open siloed
learning systems – towards a world of pace-built learning, a little differently. It is made
accessible to the masses, with as many people as possible participating without any financial
constraint and the absence of any formal education resource. In making it a game, CodeQuest
will make use of interactive challenges that reward progress through ranking systems in
engaging users and making learning to code fun and motivational.

Our vision is to provide a platform that equips individuals with practical, in-demand skills that
open up career and educational opportunities. We would like to work with educational NGOs
and other similar organizations that share our mission of accessible education for all. With initial
costs going more towards the creation of high-quality content rather than extensive design
elements, CodeQuest will deliver a streamlined, user-friendly experience prioritizing educational
value.

Since we are presently working as a school project, our base of operation will be at our campus,
and thus we could efficiently use our resources as well as coordinate well with our team. We will
also reinvest the funding that we received initially for developing CodeQuest further with
improvements in our platform making the user experience more friendly in order to set the base
for a much more complicated application that would be possible to support a wide array of
learning paths in the future.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

At BreadInAPan Co., we make strides in breaking the common hindrances in coding education:
through CodeQuest-a platform where all kinds of coding is gamified-we come with practical and
much-needed coding skills to unlock their users’ pathways both for careers and education.
CodeQuest is user engagement-enabled, offering challenges and rankings that are fun and
motivate the process of learning how to code.

Our vision is to equip individuals with valuable coding skills that are both practical and in
demand, helping users open up new career and educational pathways. CodeQuest is designed
with user engagement in mind, incorporating interactive challenges and ranking systems that
make learning to code both motivational and enjoyable.

Our mission is to work with other educational NGOs and organizations like us that support the
need for accessible education. As such, we are actually spending more time on our content
quality rather than putting in as much effort in terms of design expenses. CodeQuest is thus very
simple yet user-friendly in its functionality, which really focuses more on the educational value
and the accessibility it can provide to the learners.

Currently, CodeQuest is a school project; therefore, it will be based at our campus. This will
enable us to take advantage of all the facilities that we have and hone the team.

We plan to sell our idea to NGOs so that they themselves can run our application while we focus
on turning the idea into reality and pitching this idea to said NGOs.
ANALYSES

Industry Trend
The demand in accessible online education is sharply increasing, with high and rapid growth in
self-paced learning platforms. Digitalized learning is being adopted as many are looking for
flexible affordable alternatives to formal education and gamified learning which tends to
incorporate interactive elements rewarding education, has gained enormous popularity among
the youth group.

Consumer Analysis
CodeQuest is targeting aspiring programmers who cannot afford or access a proper learning
institution in programming. The customers for this product are students, fresh career
professionals, and hobbyists. It’s designed for those interested in learning at their own pace, fun,
and with ease. This is made possible by the fact that all content offered is free and accessible
both on mobile and web platforms.

Competitive Analysis
CodeQuest competes in the competitive EdTech space in the form of free content (YouTube
tutorials, forums) and paid platforms such as Coursera, Codecademy, and Udacity. Although
some of the platforms are quite old and have the entire range of courses, it can be pricey and
therefore might not be a viable option for budget-conscious learners to go there. CodeQuest
competes by offering free gamified programming instructions as an engaging low-cost solution
with accessibility as its focus.
The global market is also estimated to increase through online learning in the subsequent five
years with programming and coding courses in much demand by the growth of the technology
sector. CodeQuest shall make its share based on its user base on individuals situated in
developing regions who desire inexpensive alternatives to convention systems. Initial growth
should, therefore, be induced from the partnership in NGO educative sectors and marketing plans
focused on affordability of applying to use the app.
Market Share
The new entrant, CodeQuest, starts with a low market share, which it will scale up gradually
with strategic alliances, word of mouth marketing, and advertisement. By locating itself as a
niche in affordable education for programming in a fun gamified manner, the company will
create a base of loyal users who require accessible education.

Market Position
CodeQuest is an open-access, friendly learning platform focused on social responsibility rather
than pure profit. We really differ from our competitors when we are completely eliminating
further financial barriers for education. That is why the application is free of charge to all users
targeted by adverts and NGOs, and so forth.

CodeQuest really stands out in this market because it’s one of the very few social responsibility-
focused, community-driven EdTechs.

The marketing strategy of CodeQuest involves outreach and liaison with NGOs, tie-ups with
educational institutions, and a social presence that targets tech enthusiasts and students. Using
our partnerships, we are trying to gain an active online presence so that we increase our visibility
and increase the number of users. All revenues generated through advertisements will be
reinvested into the platform so that we continue on our quest for perfection while satisfying the
users.

In brief, CodeQuest is so well set to corner the niche in EdTech for the reason that it emphasizes
meeting a niche in affordably engaging with programming education needs. By using the
strategy combined with focusing on the needs of the users, we will be best positioned in this fast-
evolving industry.

Is CodeQuest feasible?

Yes, CodeQuest works because it fills a very vivid market need: affordable and
accessible coding education. With the rising demand of coding skills and the
upsurge in popularity about gamified learning platforms, CodeQuest has very good
odds of attracting users who have no budget to afford them to attend traditional
courses. Furthermore, gamification will make its learning interactive and fun,
which results in consistent engagement from various students, professionals, or
hobbyists. In addition, the platform's partnership with NGOs lays a solid
foundation for resources and outreach, making the platform sustainable and
continue to grow. The financial plan also sustains its feasibility. The estimated
costs of PHP 240,000 are quite justifiable for creating a functional platform and
successfully marketing it. Content quality over expensive design is key to
maintaining the focus on educational value, while partnerships and a strong social
media presence ensure outreach to the target audience. With a clear mission,
practical cost management, and an innovative learning model, CodeQuest is poised
to succeed in the competitive EdTech market.
