RESOLUTION NO. 09 Series of 2023
A RESOLUTION OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY BANGYAS
ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL LOGO OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN NG
BARANGAY BANGYAS CALAUAN LAGUNA, SUBJECT TO EXISTING LAWS,
RULES AND REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bangyas is a basic government unit
governed under RA 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 and its
Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).
WHEREAS, Section 22(a)3 and (b) of the Local Government Code provides that
everygovernment unit, as a corporation, shall have the power to have and use a corporate seal
and maymodify at any time;
WHEREAS, the official logo serves the purpose of having a concrete symbol of its authority
and professionalism, ready to conduct effective business operations. This logo also expresses
the cultural/historical existence of Barangay Bangyas.
WHEREAS, The Offical Logo of Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bangyas shall appear as
illustrated bellow and explained as follows:

The logo prominently features vibrant colors and elements that represent the values,
aspirations, and identity of the Sangguniang Kabataan in Barangay Bangyas. At its center, a
dynamic symbol of youth in motion is encircled, symbolizing empowerment, energy, and unity.
Surrounding the youth icon is a radiant sun with eight rays, inspired by the Philippine flag,
representing hope, freedom, and the role of the youth in nation-building.
The lower portion is designed with a shield-like emblem, signifying protection, responsibility,
and leadership. Below the main banner, "2023" and "Brgy. Bangyas" are highlighted, grounding
the logo in the local community's context and the current year's programs and initiatives. The
inclusion of laurel leaves at the bottom symbolizes achievement, excellence, and the continuous
growth of young leaders.
WHEREAS, The Official Logo shall be affixed to all communications and forms of the
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bangyas such as but not limited to, letterheads, envelopes,
memo pad, and legal documents required. The same will also be used in uniforms and
announcements.
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Councilor Kirby A. Barbo duly seconded by SK
Councilor Desiree Joy D. Requitud and SK Council present.
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the above-mentioned resolution:
ADOPTED, this 18th day of December 2023 at barangay Bangyas, Calauan, Laguna.
