How to connect to tryhackme lab?


Log in to tryhackme from your kali machine. You can also log in from your local machine. In this case,
you will need to transfer the ovpn file from local machine to virtual machine.

Go to your desired tryhackme room and start the machine

Download the vpn configuration file

As you can see the file was downloaded on my downloaded folder

Run the file using openvpn command

You have to keep the terminal open until you are done

You can also check if the vpn connection is established in tryhackme access page

The tryhackme room will have the ip address of the machine you started previously. Below ip and
your ip may not match.

Now test the connection from kali by pinging the ip address

As you can see the ping is successful.

Now you can go ahead with any task the tryhackme room has.
