• Access the Microsoft Enterprise Skills Initiative (ESI) site at esi.microsoft.com. Click the Sign-in Now button and enter your Allscripts
email address.
Choose MS Certification Box
• Click on Schedule link in the Microsoft Certifications Box.

Get Started
• Click on the Get Started link for Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals – AZ-900 exam.
Certification Details page
• Click the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals link in Certification details section at the bottom of the screen.

Select Exam Schedule Partner
Click the Schedule with Pearson VUE button. There is no charge to Allscripts’ employees. Disregard the $99 price.
Set up Personal Microsoft Profile and Sign in
• If you have not set up a personal profile for Microsoft, click Create One and enter your personal email address and your existing
email Password. You will be asked to enter your first and last name, country, and birthdate. You will need to verify your personal
account by entering the security code sent to your personal email address. You will be asked to verify that you are not a robot.
• The certification exam will be reflected in both your personal and Allscripts’ Microsoft accounts.
• If you already have a personal profile, enter your personal email address. Click Next and Sign In

Create your Certification Profile
• Create your personal profile. Check I have read and agree click Save & Continue. Follow the prompts to verify your account.
Exam Discount Screen
• On this screen, enter your work email ID (Allscripts email ID) and click the Check Eligibility button. This action verifies your Allscripts
account and your personal account. If you receive an error message or if you are told that there are no discounts, verify the email
address and click the Check Eligibility button again.

• Once the two accounts are verified, a dialog box appears on screen asking to link your Personal email account to Allscripts work
account
• Click the Agree button.
Claim your certification exam
• After you agree to link accounts, the Exam Discounts page will return. The screen will show a 100% discount associated with the
Allscripts Healthcare Solutions organization. Click the blue Claim button. Once the discount is claimed, it will grey out as shown.
• Click on Schedule Exam button
• Follow the prompts to select language preference for the exam and the proctor, location preference, and select your date / time for
your exam.

Select Exam Options
• Select how you want to take the exam, at a local testing center or at your home or office.
• Once the selection is made, click Next.
System Pre-check
• If you select home or office, you will have the option to run a system pre-check. If you are using the computer you will be using for the
exam, you may go ahead and run the pre-check. You will also need to run a full system check after you receive your exam
confirmation email.
• You do not have to run the pre-check at this time. If you choose to, click Run pre-check.
• A new internet browser window will appear and the system pre-check will automatically run. Once complete, return to the Select
exam options window.
• Select Next to continue.

• Below is an example of the system pre-check window. Clicking the Next button in the lower right screen will take you to a new
window and provide directions to close the tab and return to the exam options tab to complete registration.
On-line Exam Policies
• After clicking Next from the Exam Options screen, the online exam policies will appear. You must select each box and click Next at
the bottom of the screen.

Select Exam Languages
• Select the language for the exam.
• Click Next to continue.
Select Proctor Languages
• Select the Proctor language for the exam.
• Select Next to continue.

Find an Appointment
• Choose the date and time for your exam.
• Click Next to continue.
Check out your certification exam
• The shopping cart will display.
• Verify the exam, the exam appointment, and the price. You price will show $99.00. When you scroll to the bottom of the screen, you
will see the estimated total is calculated with the 100% discount. Your estimated total will show $0.00.
• Select Proceed to Checkout.

Enter Payment and Billing
• The Enter Payment and Billing screen will display.
• A $99 subtotal will appear along with a $99.00 discount. The estimated total due will show, USD $0.00
• Select Next to proceed.
Enter Order
• The Final approval screen will display.
• Verify the exam and appointment date.
• Verify the total due is $0.00. The total is located in the bottom right area of the screen.
• Select Submit Order
• After submitting order, you will receive an order confirmation including information on how to access your exam on the date and time
you selected for the appointment.

Receive Training Credit in the ALC
To add exam completion to your Allscripts Learning Center transcript:
1. Submit a ServiceNow request through the Associates Service Portal, once you complete the exam.
2. Select Education Services and choose Ad Hoc Transcript as the request type.
3. In the request description provide the name of the Certification, Azure Fundamentals Certification - AZ - 900, and request the
exam be marked complete.
4. Finally, upload the certificate you receive from Microsoft.
