Engro Corporation Limited delivers essential services for Pakistan as well as
world class products and infrastructure for a multitude of stakeholders.
To meet the expectations of the Country, our Employees, Customers,
Shareholders, and the Public, Engro Corporation is committed to Health, Safety,
and Environment (HSE) as our core value and key business objective.
Accordingly, we are duty-bound to:
® continually work towards ZERO occurrence of occupational injuries and
illnesses as well as process safety and environmental incidents,
© integrate HSE aspects in all business decisions that we make,
© identify threats that can adversely affect PEAR (People, Environment,
Assets, Reputation), and prevent and/or mitigate through effective
safeguards and work processes,
® practice inherent safety in design, continuous HSE performance
improvement, and compliance with regulatory requirements of the
Government of Pakistan as well as the provinces in which we operate,
use energy and materials efficiently to conserve natural resources, and
© develop awareness and culture to instill HSE ownership and responsibility
in employees and contractors.
Wewill pursue these obligations based on:
® enforcement of a goal-oriented HSE Management System derived from
International Standards and Industry Best Practices,
assigning Line Function the responsibility and accountability for HSE
compliance and using HSE performance as a key element in the appraisal
of Employees and Contractors,
® stewardship of our products to minimize the potential for harm due to
misuse.
