 1. INTERVIEW TIPS
It is quite important in this competitive world to perform better while interview. Basically
interview is a kind of communication in which interviewee and interviewer came to know about
each other.

1. Interview dress: - if you are a man-- wear suit, you can go with white shirt navy blue
pants, black pants, sky blue shirt. If you are a woman wear pant or jeans with formal
shirt.
Don’t wear large jewelry, dark color or too much make-up.
2. Handshakes: - Handshake with smile and light.
Question

Important points to remember:-

1. Stand up and greet your interviewer.

2. Don’t wear too much perfume.
3. Bring a copy of your resume.
4. Ask for your interview business card.
5. Turn off your cell phone.
6. If your phone is rings, apologize for that during interview.

Some points to remember:

1. To know about the company :- The more information you have about the company the
better you have confidence while interview. It makes a kind of impression that you
are really interested towards/ seeking a job about the same organization. It also show
that how much information you have got about that particular organization.
2. Location :- Where the organization is situated and how many braches it has got.
3. Size :- What is the size of the organization.
4. Products :- What kinds of products are made by same organization and who are the
clients of the same organization and who are the market shares.
5. Recent changes :-What kinds changes have been made in the organization in the recent
days.
6. First Impression :- First impression is the last impression. Your appearance make very
first impression while interview.

Tips to Remember:

1. Your presence should be professional.

2. Your clothes should be of formal, avoid casual.
3. Wear neat and tidy clothes.

While Interview:

1. Switch off your phone before entering the interview room.

2. There should be salutation before/ as you enter into the interview room.
3. Don’t have seat until you are said so.
4. Introduce yourself with full name.
5. Sit relax.
6. Don’t laugh unnecessary.
7. Answer any after getting the question. If you don’t get don’t give wrong answer
ask politely to repeat the question.
8. Tell spade-a-spade if you don’t know the answer.
9. Avoid arguments.
10. Put your words with politeness.
11. Don’t answer as you are asking a question as, if you are given chance to visit
foreign would you don’t say of course? Say yes only if you have no problem to
go.
12. Answer to the point.
13. Avoid telling a lie.
14. Don’t speak ill of other and don’t use cheap words.
15. If you are asked would you like to know anything else this time you should ask
about organization. And if you are not given chance like this so you can ask before
leaving by taking polite permission.
16. If you are not permitted don’t dodge.
17. Don’t share your personal experience with the interview. If you are asked give to
the point answer.
18. Your every answer should show your positivity.
19. Thank to the interviewer after the interview is over.

Mistakes while Interview

1. To be late;- Late even by one minute may ruin your impression get the location
before going to the interview and at least reach at the destination before half an
hour.
2. Bad dressing sense ;- your dress is the first impression while your interview. If
you wear casual funky you lost the battle. Even your confidence level will be low.
So think you logically before going.

 3. Problem in communication ;- it’s been seen number of times that candidate
has got ability,talent but his communication skill is not up to the mark in this
stage your ability would not work. That’s way it is important to choose one
medium of answer either Hindi of English.
4. Telling a lie;- Taking help of lie or false is a blunder. Now a day’s many
companies cross-check the information given by candidate.
5. Negative attitude:- some candidate are seemed boring tired.
Uncurious while interview sometimes they are dodgy. These are signs of
negativity of the candidates. you must be very careful while interview about your
body language and behavior.

Before interview
1. Read your Resume ;- Read your resume before setting out for the interview.
2. Mock Interview. ;- Have two- there mock interview before going to the
interview give interview to your friend and analyze yourself.
3. What to carry :-you must have file. Carry your photocopies of your certificates
and also carry your at least 3 snaps. And you must have your pen.
4. What to wear
1.
1. Generally wear grey or navy blue.
2. Color of belt should be like boots color.
3. Socks color should be matched with color of your pants.
4. Shoe should be polished.
5. Male should not wear anything in the ear.
6. Women should not wear high heels.
7. Don’t wear nail polish make up.

2) First Impression

1. Be on time:- Be on before half an hour before interview.

2. Stress control:- Be cool take long breath.

3. Entering room:- Wish interviewer, sit after saying thanks.

3) While interview

a. Be Interesting Highlight what you have done make eye contact.

profile place etc. should be asked to the H.R.

4) Final stage

1. Discussion on Package: - Sometimes company don’ give respected salary but gives
some hidden benefits like- conveyance, mobile expense, meals etc. Considering all these things
come on the salary.

2. While moving from the interviewer room: - Thank/wish interviewer. Leave the door
gently while moving out without making any sound.

Personality plays key role in an individual life. Basically personality has got two types.
Definition of personality is different from person to person.

1. Internal personal

Internal personality is all about mentality and ideas which occur in individual minds.

2. External personality :-
External personality is all about what you wear how do you look like? Your sitting
walking, speaking etc are all the parts of external personality.

Looks is the prime factor in our personality you clothes, hair shoes accessories enhance
your look and reflect your personality.

A. Formal :- Plain shirt, denim linen shirt, used in an office.
B. Informal :- jeans shirt, Chinese collar shirt can be worn at home.

Bracelet:-= Avoid bracelet in office but can wear in college at home.
Jewelry :- Wear less as much as possible.
Lipstick :- Wear light in office avoid in school and colleges.

Hair color:-

Don’t get your hair color in an office. But can get at college but not in school.

Ear rings :- Avoid long ear ring.

Hair clips :-Avoid bundle of hair clips in the hair.

Belt :- wear black leather in office but can wear stylish at college and at home with jeans and
T-shirt.

Suits :- Wear matching or contrast matching suits.

Wear pajamas at office.

Avoid wearing saris and Patiala type of suits in an office.

Can wear jeans tops western outfit in an office at institute and home.

Sitting :- While sitting , sit straight on the chair keeping your back straight and keeping
touched to the back of the chair.

Walking :- Always walk with confidence don’t get your shoulders down.

Speaking :-

Speak as much as required.

Give chance to others to speak.

Keep in mind about body language while speaking like your hands posture, lips, legs etc.

Open hand body posture is needed while speaking in public.

Keeps in mind your legs are not moving and your hands are not in closed body posture or
you are touching your hair putting hands in pocket etc.

Eye contact;-

This is the most important part of personality make eye contact while speaking.

Let your body speak like your hands head etc.
