Emcee:
"Magandang [umaga/hapon], mga kaibigan, guro, magulang, at mga mag-aaral! Welcome to our celebration of
National Reading Month with the theme ‘Sa Pagbasa, May Pag-asa.’ Today, we come together to celebrate the power
of reading and how it opens doors to a brighter future. To begin, let us all bow our heads and offer our thoughts in
prayer.
(Pause for prayer audio presentation.)

2. National Anthem (Audio Presentation)


Emcee:
"Thank you for that prayer. Now, as we honor our nation, let us all rise and sing the Philippine National Anthem. Please
face the flag as we unite in this beautiful display of patriotism."
(Pause for the National Anthem audio presentation.)

3. Welcome Remarks
Emcee:
"Thank you, everyone. Please be seated. On behalf of _________ ES Faculty staff, I am proud to welcome each and
every one of you to this special event. National Reading Month is an opportunity for us to reflect on the importance of
reading in shaping our future, and today, we are here to celebrate the hope that reading brings. It is with great joy that
we open today’s program.
To officially welcome you all, please join me in welcoming mam___________, FILIPINO READING COORDINATOR to
deliver the welcome address. Let’s give hera warm round of applause."

4. Intermission Number – Kindergarten


Emcee:
"Thank you for that heartfelt welcome. Now, to kick off the program with some energy, our talented Kindergarten
students are here to give us a special intermission number. Let’s give them a big round of applause as they take the

5. Story Retelling – Grades 1, 2, and 3


Emcee:
"Weren’t our little performers amazing? And now, we continue our celebration of storytelling. Our Grade 1, 2, and 3
students will now take us through an inspiring story retelling. Their voices and imagination will remind us that in
reading, there is indeed hope. Please give them your full attention as they share this wonderful story with us."

"Thank you to our young storytellers for that beautiful retelling! Now, we are honored to have with us a distinguished
guest who will share her message about the importance of reading and its power to create positive change. Please join
me in welcoming, Honorable ___________, BRGY CAPTAIN, to deliver her message. Let’s give her a warm round of
applause."

7. Intermission Number – Grade 1 Students


Emcee:
"Thank you, Honorable Delia, for your inspiring words. Let’s continue the celebration with another fantastic
performance, this time from our Grade 1 students. They have prepared something special, so let’s show them our
support as they take the stage!"

8. Muling Pagkukwento – Grades 1, 2, and 3


Emcee:
"Thank you to our Grade 1 students for that wonderful performance. Now, our Grade 1, 2, and 3 learners are back for
another exciting round of storytelling. Let’s watch as they bring another captivating story to life. Through storytelling,
we are reminded once again that in reading, there is hope."

"Thank you to our students for that fantastic storytelling! Now, we are pleased to hear another meaningful message,

11. Interpretative Reading – Grades 4, 5, and 6


Emcee:
"That was a beautiful performance! Now, we move on to something truly inspiring. Our students from Grades 4, 5, and

of reading. Let’s enjoy and appreciate their artistic expression."

15. Spelling Bee – Grades 1, 2, and 3 (Filipino)

Grades 1, 2, and 3 will be competing in the Filipino Spelling Bee. Let’s cheer them on as they showcase their spelling
