1 CRSS Login page

The login page of the CRSS allows you to perform three basic functions. You can
either log in to the application or reset the user password when you already have
an approved user account or the signup application in case of new system user. To
do any of these, see the following:

1.1 Resetting user account password

When the defined password is to be modified, the system provides a function


that lets you reset the password.

1.1.1 Configuration

The forgotten password can be reset using the e-mail address,


security question, and security answer that the participant initially
defined in the system.

In resetting the user password, the following fields must be


specified:

Field Description

Email This refers to the registered e-mail


address of the participant.
Security question This refers to the defined security
question of the participant. This defined
during the first time login.
Security Answer This refers to the answer to the security
question. This defined during the first
time login.
Others
Reset Password This button is used to complete the
resetting of password.

1.1.2 Resetting user account password: Procedure

Prerequisites

 Approved application

Steps

To reset the account password of a user, do the following:

1. Log on to the CRSS URL:


https://crss.wesmsys.local/uaa/login.

2. Click the FORGOT PASSWORD? link.

3. In the Reset Password form, do the following:
a. In the Email field, specify the registered e-mail
address.
b. In the Security question dropdown list, select the
defined security question.
c. In the Security Answer field, specify the defined
answer to the security question.
4. Click Reset Password.

Result

A temporary password will be sent to the provided email.

2 Registration

2.1 Creating new registration

Participants are required to accomplish the Registration Prerequisite in order


to register successfully.

In the Select Category drop-down list, specify the category of the participant.

In the Membership Type drop-down list, specify the type of membership of


the participant. By default, Generator, MSP, RES, LRES, SOLR and CC can only
be registered as DIRECT.

Select MSP and then click Save.

The participant can create a new registration in the Manage Registrations in
the Registrations module of CRSS. Once all the required fields have been
populated, the system will fill the hexagon color from “Gray” to “Blue”.

The following are the hexagons that comprise the Participant Registration:

Field Description

Participant Info This contains the Participant Information


form to be filled out by the participant.
Financial Info This contains the Financial Information form
to be filled out by the participant.
Contacts This contains the Contact Information form
to be filled out by the participant.
User Info This hexagon is not yet available in the
current version of CRSS.
Facility This contains Facility information to be filled
out by the participant.
Signup Doc This contains the Signup Documents
wherein the user can upload supporting
documents.
Supply Contract This contains the Supply wherein the user
can upload supply contracts.
Billing Configuration This contains the Billing Configuration
wherein the user can assign billing settings,

The user must fill out all required fields, all of which are marked with a red
asterisk (*), before accomplishing the form.

Users can select existing organization from the Organization dropdown or
Create new Organization.

When Create New Organization is clicked, a form is displayed and relevant


fields must be specified to create new profile of organization.

Click Save after filling out the Organization form. After saving, the user is
redirected back to the Participant Information form.

Click Save after filling out the Participant Information form. After saving, the
user is redirected back to the Manage Registrations tab.

After clicking Add Contact, the Add Contact form is displayed.

After filling out the required fields, click Add to successfully add the contact.
The user can add multiple contacts in the Contacts hexagon.
Click Back to be redirected back to the Manage Registrations tab.

2.2 Submitting the Registration

The Submit button is enabled once all hexagons have been completed. After
clicking Submit, IEMOP will receive Dashboard and Email notifications about
the submitted registration.

3 Logging in to CRSS

Upon approval of registration, the relevant user is then able to log in to the system
using the approved user account. This section discusses the settings and procedure
on how to log in to the CRSS.

3.1 Configuration

For the relevant settings, see Login page table.

The following fields must be specified in the Login page:

Field Description

Username This refers to the defined username of


the applicant.
Password This refers to the defined password of
the applicant.
Others
LOGIN This button is clicked to log in to the
Web-based application.
FORGOT This link is used to reset the initially
PASSWORD? defined password of the participant.
For more information on resetting the
user password, see Resetting user
account password.
CREATE AN This link is used to create new user
ACCOUNT account of the applicant.

Prerequisites

 Approved user registration

Steps

To log in to the system using the account of a registered user, do


the following:

1. Log on to the CRSS URL:


https://crss.wesmsys.local/uaa/login.
(This is just the temporary URL for the system.)

2. Specify the relevant details for the following fields:

 Username

3. Click LOGIN.

Home This refers to the dashboard of the CRSS.

Registration This module contains a list of registrations.
This list is filtered only to participants who
requested MIRF to the MSP user.
Manage MIRF This module contains the list of MIRF to be
managed by the MSP users.
Manage Facility This module contains the list of facilities
Application and their corresponding information.
View Submitted Meter This module is used to view uploaded Meter
Data Quantity data.
Manage Meter Trouble This module contains the list of the MTR.
Reports
Manage User Accounts This module contains the list of user
accounts from participants.
Chat This module allows user to send feedbacks
or remarks to IEMOP

Notification Bell

MSP Users can view notifications by clicking on the Notification Bell.

The dashboard lets the user see the MIRF Requests, MIRF Created, MIRF for
Rectification, MIRF Updates and other MTR Notifications. The user may click the View
link to see the particular MIRF Action.

After IEMOP has assessed and approved the registration, the user can update their
Post-Registration details. Click the Go to Post-Registration button to start updating
the registration details.

The Post Registration page is displayed. The user must click the following tabs to
update their registration:

Tabs Description

Update Participant Info This tab is used for updating the participant
information.
Update Contact Info This tab is used for updating the contact
information.
Update Organization This tab is used for updating the
Info organization information.
Update Facility Fields This tab is used for updating existing
facility fields.
Update Financial Info This tab is used for updating the financial
information.
Add Facility This tab is used for adding facilities.

The user can edit their existing contact, delete or add another contact/s.

5.5 Add Facility

This tab is for adding facility.

Fill out the necessary information then click Save.

6 Facility

The MIRF module displays the list of facilities. The user can view, update, or
create the MIRF in the selected facility.

6.1 Add MIRF for Facility Applications

To create the MIRF, the user must click View Facility Applications under
Manage Facility Applications in the menu.

Under MIRF, click ADD MIRF.

The Metering installation Registration Form is displayed. Supply


information to the required fields and then click Save.

The facility’s MIRF is created and displayed on the View Facility page. The
Participant will receive an Email and Dashboard notifications to review and
confirm the provided MIRF by MSP.

6.2 Assessing the provided MIRF

From Post-Registration List, click the Edit icon of the facility then View
MIRF.

The Facility Information page is displayed. Under Reserve Category


Requirements, select the MSP and then click View MIRF.

The MIRF List is displayed. Click View on the SEIN with the status of FOR
CONFIRMATION.

The Metering Installation Registration Form is displayed. The user must
then choose an action:
 Rectify -This button is used to send the MIRF back to the
participant for rectification.
 Confirm –This button is used to confirm the MIRF.

If the user confirmed the MIRF, the status is changed into CONFIRMED.

After clicking Close, the user must click Submit to finalize confirming the
MIRF.

7 Manage MIRF

7.1 Upload MIRF

This allows the user to upload MIRFs in bulk.

Under Manage MIRF module found on the menu, click Upload MIRF.

The user should be redirected to the Upload MIRF page and then drag and
drop the file to be uploaded in the gray box

A confirmation will be displayed. Click OK to proceed uploading. Otherwise,
select Cancel.

The contents of the file should then be reflected on the table.

7.2 MIRF Updates

The user can also see the updated MIRF. Select MIRF Updates under Manage
MIRF.

The user will be redirected to the MIRF Updates page. The user can update
MIRF by clicking Update button.

A confirmation will be displayed. Click OK to proceed uploading. Otherwise,

7.3 Cancelling MIRF Update

The user can also cancel the changes made to the MIRF. Select the MIRF
update to be cancelled and then click Cancel.

After clicking, the Confirm Cancellation message is displayed. Click OK to


proceed.

The notifications are displayed in the Dashboard-Notifications of the application.

Furthermore, the user can enter the Transaction ID from the application to the
CRSS’ Metering module. To view the meter data, click View Submitted Meter
Data from the menu.

10 Meter Trouble Reports

CRSS provides an interface for MSPs to view Meter Trouble Reports (MTR) issued by
IEMOP. This generates the meter data flagged as invalid.

To view MTR, click Manage Meter Trouble Reports from the menu.

The user can also view MTRs per region by choosing the region in the Region field.

Trading Date The billing period /trading day

Meter Data The meter data type:

 Daily
 Monthly

Region The region which the meter data is included.

Date Issued Date issued of the MTR

Last Run Date Date and time when the MTR was last issued.

Latest MTR Response Date The date of the latest MTR Response of MSP
Update MTR

MTR Response
Can be one of the following:

 Blank - this is the default. This indicates


that MSP has not responded yet in any MTR
Validation Status/Flag in Update MTR
(Daily/Monthly)
 On-going - this indicates that MSP has
responded in one of the MTR Validation
Status/Flag in Update MTR (Daily/Monthly)
 Closed - this indicated that all Validation
Status/Flags has Close MTR Status.
 Date Closed - yyyy-mm-dd. Date when all
Validation Status/Flags has been Closed

10.1 View Daily Meter Trouble Reports

This lets the users view the Daily MTR

Click Manage Meter Trouble Reports from the menu.

Select Daily on the dropdown list box beside Meter Data. Then, choose the
Trading Date using the date picker. Click Filter. Results will be displayed,

Click View Summary link to see the MTR details.

Email Notification

The MSP users able to receive notifications of generated Daily MTR through email.

10.2 View Monthly Meter Trouble Reports
This lets the users view the Monthly MTR

Click Manage Meter Trouble Reports from the menu.


Select Monthly on the dropdown list box beside Meter Data. Then, choose the
Billing Period. Click Filter. Results will then be displayed,

Click View Summary link to see the MTR details.

Email Notification
The MSP users are also able to receive notifications of generated Monthly MTRs
through email.

10.3 Update Meter Trouble Reports

The user can update MTRs that are not tagged as Closed.

To update MTR, go to Meter Trouble Reports page then select the meter data
type and then click View Summary link.

A box will be displayed next. Click Update.

The User can then update the MSP Remarks. Choose the Trading Participant to
be updated. Click the dropdown arrow that will appear and then select the
remark/status. Click Save to save changes. Otherwise, select Cancel.

Select from the following MSP Remarks:

1. Commissioned (Specify the Date)


If it is a new metering facility, the MSP should specify the date as to when it is
commissioned into service.

2. Decommissioned (Specify the Date)


If the metering facilities will be retired/ceased, the MSP should specify the date
as to when it is decommissioned in service

3. Estimated Data
MSP should specify if the values in the uploaded SEIN are Estimate, and encode
the letter E in the specified column.

4. For Manual Download


Are metering points that persistently fail in transmitting the data files, or that

5. Network Problem
These are communication failures that occurred during interrogation by the MSP,
which is usually done by a third party.

6. On Shutdown
These are meters that were temporarily disconnected into service. Maintenance
or tripping of the associated lines where the meter is connected has occurred.

7. Re-energized
These are meters that are put in service after a temporary shutdown.

8. Resent Corrected Data


These are meter data resent to IEMOP after correction of the meter values on the
affected intervals; or resend the data to IEMOP after manual download from the
site has took place.

9. Unregistered Data
Are data errors whose affected intervals are subject to estimations or
substitutions from the registration of the back-up meter.

10. Valid Data


Are the official data and shall be used for other metering processes such as SSLA
applications.

11. Others (Please specify)


Are remarks that are not in the drop down list. MSP has to specify their remarks
about the SEINs and its meter data.

11 User Accounts

The participant can view, delete, and request for the creation of a new User
Account.

Information form is displayed.

After updating the fields, the user can choose one of the following actions:

Action Description
This button is used to go back to the User
Accounts (For Approval) page and
disregard the updates to the user account.

This button is used to go back to the User


Accounts (For Approval) page and save
the updates to the user account.

This button is used to submit the updates


to the user account. IEMOP will receive an
email and dashboard notifications.

After submitting or saving, the user account is displayed in the User Accounts
(For Approval) page.
