Chapter 1: INTRODUCTION
Uzima Company is the leading borehole service providers in the
country. They provide the drilling service to industrial
commercial and domestic clients. They provide either
symmetric, core or geo technical drilling. The water pumps are
of various types such as electric, solar hand and submersible
pumps. In which they charge according to the depth of the
borehole height of the tank above the ground and the type of
pump. In all that they also install tanks and charge according to
the capacity of the tank in litres. They also offer other services
such as plumbing and pump maintenance.
SYSTEM ANALYSIS
 OVERVIEW OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system is manual and all recording are done using
a pen and a sheet of paper. There is no scientific calculators to
do calculation so all calculation are done by hand which it is
time consuming. The data of the clients is not secured which it
is a risk of client’s information to an authorized person.
OVERVIEW OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM
This proposed system is created to make life easier to the
clients and the organization by processing orders and the data
of the clients in time and ensuring security measures to secure
information of the clients.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM
Process the invoice and receipt of the clients in time.
Make sure the registration and monitoring of the client is
effective.
Maintains records of the bore hole drilling system
Maintains records of the clients
Generates reports, receipts and invoices
Generate accurate and competence information
Calculation of various services provided including:
 Transport expenses
 Payment for the service from clients
 Income on the company
  Charge from the plumbing services
 Total sales of the company
ADVANTAGES OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM
