Guidelines for Tutorial and Lab Sessions
1. The time slots for the tutorials and labs must not be changed unless there is a serious
emergency.
2. If there is a clash with another lecture/activity it must be sorted out with the other person
involved within the first week of the tutorials and labs.
3. Tutors/Demonstrators must be present at all tutorial and lab sessions regardless of issues
with apparatus or anything else that may arise.
4. Two tutorial spot tests must be held over the course of the semester, these should
preferably be well spaced apart.
5. Three labs must be held over a semester and students are required to submit the reports
on time.
