1. The most recent university polling of 2,255 likely voters over 35 years old indicated
that only 32% supported Joe Biden’s recent decision to forgive student loans in the
amount of $10,000 for a single person who makes less than $125,000 and student
loans in the amount of $20,000 for married couples who make less than $250,000.
The margin of error was 3.2%.

statistic is a numerical description of a sample. A parameter is a numerical description of characteristic
of a population. a statistic is connected to a sample because they are describing a portion of a population
whereas a parameter and a population are connected because they are used to describe data as a whole
