- STARTUP -

1- MAIN PWR Switch – BATT/MIDDLE – (clique botão dir.) – lado esquerdo

2- Verificar se a luz do botão FLCS RLY (Flight Control System Relay) acende

3- MAIN PWR Switch – MAIN PWR/FWD - (clique botão dir.)

4- Parking Brake / Anti-Skid Switch – PARKING BRAKE (UP) (lado esquerdo)

5 - Fechar Canopy e travar Spider Guard: LCtrl + C

6 - ENGINE FEED Selector – NORM (lado esquerdo – atrás do Throttle)

7- AIR SOURCE Selector Knob – NORM (lado direito)

8 - Throttle em OFF detent - RSHIFT+END

9 - JFS (Jet Fuel Starter) switch para baixo, para dar START2 (clique botão esq.) (lado esq.)

10 - Em 30 segundos a luz verde do RUN, no painel JET FUEL, deverá acender.

11- Quando o RPM estiver entre 20% e 25% colocar o Throttle em IDLE - RSHIFT+HOME

12 - A luz verde do RUN deverá se apagar em torno de 55% RPM.

13 - (23) MMC (Modular Mission Computer) Power Switch – ON


14 - (24) ST STA (Store Stations) Power Switch – ON
15 - (25) MFD (Multifunction Display) Power Switch – ON
16 - (26) UFC (Upfront Control) Power Switch – ON
17 - (27) GPS (Global Positioning System) Receiver Power Switch – ON
18 - (28) DL (Datalink) Receiver e MAP switches podem ficar em OFF (sem função no F-16C)

19 - (30) LEFT HDPT (Left Hardpoint) Power Switch – ON (FWD) se um HTS pod (HARM (High-
Speed Anti-Radiation Missile) Targeting System) estiver equipado no hardpoint esquerdo. No
entanto, por enquanto pode ser deixado em OFF, já que o HTS pod não está disponível ainda.

20 - (31) RIGHT HDPT (Right Hardpoint) Power Switch – ON (FWD) se um targeting pod estiver
equipado no hardpoint direito.
21 – (32a / 32b) FCR (Fire Control Radar) Power Switch – FCR/ON (FWD). The Fire Control
Radar system will then enter a Built-In Test (BIT) that should take a few minutes to complete.
Note: While on the ground, radar operation is inhibited.

(33) RDR ALT (Radar Altimeter) Power Switch – STBY (MIDDLE).


Note: While on the ground, Radar Altimeter functionality is inhibited.

22 - (34) COMM1 UHF and COMM2 VHF Radio Power/Volume knobs – ON (Volume as
required).
23 - (35) COMM1 UHF and COMM2 VHF Radio Mode Switches – SQL (Squelch)
24 - (36) UHF Backup Radio Function Knob – BOTH (or MAIN, as desired)
25 - (37) Scroll HUD (Heads-Up Display) Symbology Intensity Wheel (SYM) to turn on the HUD.
26 - (38) Set C&I (Communication and Identification) Switch to UFC (Upfront Control). This
enables control of primary communications, navigation and identification functions from the
upfront controls. (37)

Important Note: In the case where a Steerpoint is not available near the target, you can use snowplow mode. To do
so:

a) Press DMS (Display Management Switch) DOWN to set TGP page as the SOI (Sensor of Interest): Num2

b) By default, the TGP should be slaved to the selected steerpoint.


Reject the target by using TMS (Target Management Switch) DOWN: D-pad pra baixo

c) SP function should be available on the TGP page:

d) Press OSB (Option Select Button) next to SP to activate Snowplow mode.

e) The targeting pod’s line-of-sight is commanded straight ahead and angled downwards to point to the ground
ahead

f) Press TMS RIGHT to set an Area Track (or TMS UP for a Point Track) on the location of the TGP reticle. This will
exit SP Mode and make the SPI slewable.

g) Slew the targeting pod as desired using the Radar Cursor switch.
