Problem

Inaccessible and Insufficient Sports Resources

The sports system in your college is inaccessible and insufficient, leading to
limited student engagement in sports activities, inadequate facilities, and
missed opportunities for talent development. This affects students' physical
fitness, overall well-being, and the college's ability to foster a thriving sports
culture.

1. Who

 Who is affected?

Students who lack access to proper sports facilities or feel excluded from
sports opportunities and so long process to play them.

2. What

 What is the problem?

Lack of proper sports facilities, equipment, and accessible opportunities for

students to participate. And it is so difficult to access them.

3. Where

 Where is the problem most evident?

On the college campus, especially in sports facilities such as indoor games,

where resources are limited or poorly maintained.

4. Why

 Why is this problem important?

Physical fitness is essential for students' mental and physical well-being. A

thriving sports culture enhances the college's reputation and fosters teamwork
and leadership skills among students.

5. When
When day scholar tries to play any games first of all they don’t allow it and
then you have to go to a very lengthy process in order to play the game. Till
when the process is completed the time is over.

By using a design-thinking approach:

1. Empathize: Conduct surveys and interviews with students

and faculty to understand their challenges and
expectations.

2. Define: Clearly outline the problem: "How might we create

an accessible and sufficient sports system for all students?"

3. Ideate: Brainstorm solutions such as:

 Upgrading facilities and equipment.

 Introducing digital booking systems for sports venues.

 Organizing inclusive sports events and workshops.

4. Prototype: Pilot initiatives such as a sports week or

upgraded equipment for one facility.

5. Test: Gather feedback and refine the solution before

scaling.

Problem Deconstruction – 2
What is the problem?

Inaccessible and insufficient Sports Equipment

Who?

Mostly the day scholars are getting affected by it.

In other colleges it is so easy and accessible to use the sports

equipment.
When?

The problem is there for a very long time for day scholars.

I think they just want to take more money form the students.
