Task 2:
(1.1) Analyze own role and responsibilities in education and training. This
may include how this relates to each aspect of the teaching/training cycle.
Ans: As a teacher, I have so many responsibilities in education and training sessions. It is a huge
role to play because it includes to teach and make people educate about their skills and
responsibilities. An instructor carries responsibilities of so many listeners future. So, they need
to consider so many things to maintain and implement it for their procedure. It is important to
take steps after identifying the feedbacks from it. Then it can be useful for the instructor.

As a teacher, I have some aspects of my role as well. Those are:

 Better communication with the students

 Teaching them good manner and behavior towards others
 Identifying individual needs and wants
 Alternative ways are open to switch learning style
 Organized and stay proper ready to teach new things
 Learn from success and failure.

A teacher needs to be flexible towards their work and have a learning mind to learn new things
which will help for their profession. Must be much decent and polite to treat their students and
let them give space to be comfortable to me for sharing their problem and their requirements
as well. I have to be aware of things those which goes against the society. I have to teach them
equity, standard, diversification, differentiation, Non-judgmental, giving effort to learn things in
the class, to know about the curriculum, giving tasks in groups and individuals, making
resources to give practical learnings. These are some of the factors as an instructor I need to
keep in mind. It will give a better idea and identification about all the individual students in the
class.
(1.2) Include a summary of key aspects of legislation, requirements and
codes of practice relating to own role and responsibilities.
Ans: As a teacher, I need to follow some aspects of legislation such as Children act, The Data
Protection Act, Health and Safety Act etc. These are important for a teacher to follow and keep
themselves out of any sort of obligation in the institution. A teacher must know these rules and
maintain it. It is very important for the students to have a safe and healthy environment for
their study. These are used to be provided by the govt. and monitored by them as well. It
carries the safety of the students in every institution.

Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

Teachers need to have a safe and hazard free environment for the students. They have to
remove any hazard before students come into the class. They need to be aware about their
health and safety. Teachers need to know their actions before its taken and let them think of it.
It will help them to be more aware about their duty and rights towards the students.

Data Protection Act 1998

An institution holds the personal information’s of students and many sort of data inside their
system. They need to have a better safety for them and a protection of the personal
information. It is a sensitive thing to be handled for the institution authority. It must be done in
a great way to deal and have a better idea of it.

Children Act

A teacher or instructor cannot abuse or assault a student physically or mentally. It is strictly

maintained and followed by the government and have a great punishment for it. Teacher must
know how to behave with student and how to treat them in a good way. It is important to keep
the students safe have a good communication with them. It is not acceptable if any teacher
behaves abusive towards any students at all.
(1.3) Analyze the relationships and boundaries between the teaching role
and other professional roles. RELATIONSHIPS will include how to build a
rapport and how to work effectively with others, sharing and exchanging
information. BOUNDARIES will include knowing when to refer and knowing
the limits of the role.
Ans: Teachers must have a good relationship Inside the institution. A teacher must know how to
behave with their students. Teachers need to be professional inside their workplace. Any sort of
unprofessional steps won’t be acceptable at all. For example, a teacher cannot share their
personal numbers to the students for any informal contacts with them. It shows a huge
unprofessional behavior towards the students. It is a bad manner to be followed as a teacher as
well. A teacher cannot behave outside their professional manner. They should be aware of their
actions and have a clear mind about what they need to behave with their students and how to
deal with any situation regarding students. On the other hand, there are some cases where
students those who comes into the class mentally breakdown and depressed. They can be
monitored by the teacher, but it must be outside of the academic class and give an additional
timing for their important and non-academic treatments. A teacher must have some knowledge
about actions and what they can do in professional area. It will help them to maintain a formal
attitude and a good teacher as well. Teachers cannot behave informal with any students
outside their exact barriers. They cannot cross their professional limit of actions in their
workplace towards their students.

(1.4) Include a description of points of referral to meet the needs of learners.

Points of referral may include study support, financial or housing advice, job
search, counselling, meeting specific learning needs such as dyslexia,
dyscalculia, SOL.
Ans: All students have different requirements as per their differentiation through their need. All
students have different problems with their different point of view and different solution. They
need to be monitored by the instructor for their betterment. It is important to let the people
know what they want and how much are they capable for any task and work inside the
classroom. Teacher needs to let them do some tasks and judge them as per their performance
individually and mentor them afterwards. It will create a development to the students and help
them to improve their skill and way of learning their study. Teachers should treat their students
individually according to their needs and importance of their works. Students may have some
family issues, financial problems for their academic expense, job related problems etc. So,
teachers need to help them by counselling and meeting with them to let them comfort to their
situation and assist them to overcome the situation as well. It creates a better bond with the
students and help them to develop their personal skills as well.

(2.2) Analyze the role and use of initial and diagnostic assessment in
agreeing on individual learning goals. This may include application forms,
interviews, literacy and numeracy tests and the use of Individual Learning
Plans.
Ans: Initial and Diagnostics assessment involves a huge range of methods to know the students
by assigning assessments and let them know by their performance from it. It helps to judge
individually students and help them by providing resources and ideas to develop their situations
and skill.

These are some methods off initial and diagnostic assessment:

 Documents and Achievements

 Individual assessments
 Discussions on topics
 Tools of assessment
 Different activities
 Observations

Documents and Achievements: Students have different achievements, skills, experience, non-
academics activities, certificates from various activities and experiences

Individual Assessments: Assigning them for making assessment on different topics and do
some analysis on those topics and comes up with details and result summarized. It will give
them a scope to explore themselves and let know about their own ideas and skills.
Discussions on topics: By having a session on any topic can make students amore attentive
about any topic to know and get interested to analyze by themselves. It will develop a self-
analysis skill and help them to solve own situations as well.

Tools Of Assessment: It helps when analyze any topic and know their assessment as well. It
gives a clear context to work on that and helps to develop a platform of on that topic to make
an improved and clear thought on it. It creates a good concept to bring a better result from the
analysis.

Different Activities: Different activities inside the class will help to learn team game and make a
good communication with others inside the class. It helps to gain new knowledge and better
processing capabilities to complete a task.

Observations: By observing any individual student can also comes up with a result of their
behavior and needs. It gives an opportunity to the instructors to work on and help that student
by mentoring them to overcome their situation.

Task 3:
(2.1) Why it is important to identify and meet the individual needs of learners
with reference to initial assessments, planning, delivery and all types of
assessment; individual learning plans, reviews; target setting and making
adjustments.
Ans: All students have different needs and wants by their different skills and minds of learning
something inside the class. They have different requirements and learning importance inside
the classroom. So, a teacher needs to treat them according to their problems and needs. It will
help them to develop their individual skills and ideas as well.

These are some assessments which shows the reasons of identifying individual needs:

 Identifying Individual Qualities of learners

 Develop learners Talent
 Planning Activities Inside Classroom
 Organizing the classroom
Identifying Individual Qualities of Learners: A teacher need to believe that all students have
skills and potential to do their work done and make a good result in the class. So, the teacher
can assign them some tasks to be done and make a judgment out of their performance through
it.

Develop Learners Talent: Many students have different and difficult talents, but they do not
know how to develop it by doing analysis and practice it. Specially it happens to the younger
students. So, Teachers may help them to develop it as well.

Planning Activities Inside Classroom: Teachers can assign them some activities inside the
classroom related to their lesson and let them explore by themselves. It will create a good
mindset of analysis and improve their skill on different platforms.

Organizing the Classroom: teachers need to identify the learners and their way of learning. It
helps to have a good idea about their style of learning things and how they deal with their study
as well. It will help to organize them inside the classroom.

(3.3) How your own planning meets the individual needs of learners. This
may include differentiation, inclusivity, learner preferences and styles.
Ans: I can assign them a task which will be practical work including resources for their help. The
task will be different according to their processing skills and capabilities. They can use data and
documents from the internet and gather information from it. Then they will explain their
situation and problem through their script and how they overcome it as well. After that they
will present their ideas and references for their tasks and bring up their suggestions. It will give
them own space of mind, self-analysis, brainstorming and inclusive idea generating scope as
well. All of them can peak as per their interested topics and make a presentation by showing
problems and suggestions to prevent it. So, this is my idea I want to apply it for knowing the
individual needs of learners.
(3.4) Ways in which teaching and learning plans can be adapted to meet the
individual needs of learners. This may relate to activities, resources and
assessment.
Ans: Teachers should get plans for individual developments of learners. All students do not
have the same skills and knowledge on every topic they used to teach in the classroom. So,
teachers need to know their individual needs and wants for their lesson.

So here are some plans that can help teacher to assure individual learnings:

 Create goals on topic which is going to be taught in the class

 Provide different ways of learning to teach them properly
 Manage different activities inside the classroom
 Offering different ways to present their learning outcomes
 Give them comfortable environment and access to do their work.
 Create groups according to their learning style
 Solving topics and problems in the class
 Provide them practical situations-based work
 Adding long term goals for flexibility
 Regular checkup of learning capabilities
 Evaluate their individual skills

A teacher can apply these ways of learning to acquire the goal of assuring individual learnings.

(4.1) Why it is important to promote appropriate behavior and respect for

others with reference to establishing ground rules, the awareness of and
maintaining of boundaries, safeguarding.
Ans: Behavior is an essential part of our life. We deal with so many people every day. This is
why we need a good manner to deal with people appropriately. Now if we talk about the
learners, they start their journey of learning formal behavior for their future from their
institution. So, it is very important to teach them appropriate behavior and respect others. If
they don’t know how to respect, they will face many obstacles in life and will be judged roughly
by other people as well. Teachers need to arrange sessions regarding this topic and teach them
properly as well. It will be a lifelong lesson. So, it is definitely important for them to be taught in
a good and proper way.

(4.2) Ways to promote equality and value diversity with reference to

inclusivity, gender, cultural and language differences, working patterns and
awareness of different learner needs
Ans: There are so way to promote equality and value diversity such as

 Always follow good manners

 Need to be aware while using any kind of jokes or motivating quotes which don’t
promotes any stereotypes.
 Related to the lesson and topic which I am learning in the class
 Provide resources which is non-sexual, non-discriminatory, non-resist
 No appreciation for gender related abusive work and activities occurs unintentionally
 Promoting different cultures and their activities
 New topics based on different ideas and options about social awareness.
 Making team with both male and female students and let them work together in a
team.
 Provide help to those students who need it.

(6.1) The purposes and types of assessment used in education and training.
Types may include initial, diagnostic, formative, summative, formal and
informal, peer and self-assessment.
Ans: For an effective teaching profession, Assessments on students learning is very important.
So, these are some types of assessments used for education and training:

Initial Assessment: This is used in a basic stage when the instructor faces the student in an
initial stage and know their capabilities, skill, experiences etc. It helps to go further process to
know a student’s better way.

Diagnostic Assessment: In this assessment, teacher assign them a task related to any topic and
tell them to come up with a result from it. It helps them to do brainstorming and explore
themselves.
Formative Assessment: In a simple word, this is a group test for the students of their chapter
they have been taught in the class and it will help them to state their learnings and their output
from the chapters. As well as it need to be present towards the instructor about their learning.

Summative Assessment: This is the standard test of their study lesson for their final outcome
by their learnings and explain their ideas and what they learned from the chapters as well.

So, these are some of the assessments used in education and trainings.

Task 4:
(5.1) The effectiveness of teaching and learning; and learning approaches in
relation to meeting the individual needs of learners. This may include
evaluations of teaching and learning methods, learning styles, and
motivation and challenge.
Ans: An instructor needs to know their learning approaches flexible and diversified. They used
to treat a big number of students to handle. So, they need to know techniques for it. Here are
some approaches:

Evaluations of Teaching: Teachers need to manage a huge number of students inside a

classroom. So, they need to evaluate their teaching style and their approaches towards their
students with different individual capacity of learnings. Teachers faces different situations in a
class daily. For that reason, they need to change their approaches to identify new ways of
teaching students to grab their attention.

Learning Methods: Learning methods are really important for the instructor to make sure that
the students are understanding the method they are being taught. It must be easily
understandable and flexible for any kinds of changes according to the students’ requirements.

Learning Styles: There are different students with their different characteristics. Teachers also
need to be that much flexible to work with the students according to their learning style. It is a
must to make easy style of teaching students.

Motivation: Students may have mental breakdowns, family problems, personal problems as
well. It causes a drawback inside the classroom. So, teachers need to know their student’s
mental status and help them to handle their situation. It will make them comfortable with their
instructor.

Challenge: The main challenge for the instructor can be managing the students with different
attitudes and big number of them as well. So, teacher must have the capability to handle a
mass number of students inside the classroom.

(5.2) The benefits and limitations of communication methods and media.

COMMUNICATION METHODS may include presentation styles, verbal and
nonverbal. MEDIA may include interactive learning environments and use of
ICT.
Ans: There are some benefits as well as some limitations of communication inside the
classroom.

Here are some communication methods and their benefits & limitations:

 Presentation Style
 Verbal Communication
 Non-Verbal Communication

Presentation Style: Students comes to learn from the instructor. So, they need to let them
teach their proper presentation of something. Presenting themselves is very important towards
other people. It creates their impression towards other people.

Verbal Communication: Talking with people and how they are using words and how they are
handling their voice and they are talking with other people must be noticed and decent in order
to maintain a formal attire. It gives a person an idea about them. Them it will make a good
image towards other people as well. So, the instructor needs to let them know and teach about
it in a proper way.

Non-Verbal Communication: Non-verbal communication is the body language and gesture you
are making in front of a person you are interacting with. It should be much proper and in a
decent way of any conversation which is not seems bad towards other people on the side.
(5.3) Analyze the effectiveness of resources methods in relation to meeting
the individual needs of learners.
Ans: Using resources for individual learnings are much helpful to reach the goal of individual
monitoring students by their potentials and capabilities. It gives them a chance to make their
comfortable zone their ways of learning their lessons. They get multiple options to work on and
get their moral of work. It gives them enough opportunities to get their answers and their
output from their learning, as it has multiple ways and vast options to choose to present their
learnings and understanding of their lessons they have been taught inside the classroom by the
instructor. By providing resources, they get the access to have information from outside and
work on those for their assessment they have given by the instructors. It helps them to get
knowledge from outside of the class as well. So, it is helpful in terms of learning new things on
different topic from the other resources accept basic lesson. They can get props and tools to
make items to present any topic and make understand of using it in real practical life. So using
resources are comes up with so many benefits for the students.

(6.2) Analyze the effectiveness of assessment methods in relation to meeting

the individual needs of learners.
Ans: Assessment methods helps to judge students and get some ideas about their capability
and capacity of getting knowledge from the class. It helps them to know about their students
individually and their problems and skill expertise’s as well. It helps them to create a basic
portfolio of a student and reviews on it to get idea about their strength and weaknesses. An
instructor can easily get a view on their students by assigning assessments individually and
team oriented. It will give them different ideas in different situation of student faces. It helps
them to know their students by their output from the lesson they are being taught inside their
classroom. Assessments are much important for the overall result of a student as well. So, it
should be more accurate and precise in order to get the judgement out of their performance on
their learnings. So, it is important and effective to have a good and proper method of
assessment to meet the individual needs of learners.
(7.1) Analyze ways in which minimum core elements can be demonstrated in
planning, delivering and assessing inclusive teaching and learning.
Ans: Here are the core elements of teaching and learning are:

 Planning: First of all, I used to make an over map to follow for entire process of learning
students and how I will teach them in their entire semester. I used to plan for giving
them good number of resources to learn for their better ideas about the topic and make
them a good knowledgeable about that as well. It helps them to learn more about it by
themselves and creates a better impact on them.
 Delivering: In terms of delivering ideas, as a teacher I would like to provide different
ideas for getting a better outcome from the students. By giving them opportunity to give
their output of their learnings, it will clearer know their capability and capacity of
gaining knowledge as well. It gives them a better way of learning things and present
them in a good way.
 Assessing: This is the last stage of students proving their performance by their learnings.
It proves how much they have learned and how come they will provide the output from
it. It keeps a good idea about the students’ performance and outcome of their effort in
the assessment.

Task 5:
(8.1) Review the effectiveness of own practice in planning, delivering and
assessing inclusive teaching and learning taking account of the views of
learners and others.
Ans: As a teacher, I need to keep in mind that I ama delivering something which needs to be
acceptable and easy to understand for the student and they are getting my ways of teaching
them and evaluating their ways of learning new things in their classes. It gives them a space to
learn properly and know their self-ability in order to deal with their tasks and works they are
doing inside the class. I need to be aware if they are getting my ways of teaching and if I am
able to let them teach as well.
My planning for the class needs to be easier to implement and the students are going to accept
it as well. It will help them to follow and give the real learnings from it which is important to
provide by myself as teacher of an institution. According to the student, planning nee to be
student friendly and gives a good way to be followed for the well-being of the student.
Instructor should plan according to their student they will be working for the whole semester.

Then it comes to delivering their visual opportunity to pitch their ideas and present their ideas
on their learnings and give a brief explanation on their learning topics. It must be easier for
them to implement it and I must give a space to explain it in their own way. It will give them a
comfortable opportunity to communicate with me or the other instructor as well.

And the last is the main assessment on their learnings. This will reflect their learnings on what
they have learned inside the classroom from their instructor. It helps them to provide their
output by assessing their learning outcomes and shows a brief presentation of their lessons and
gives a final outcome from their class tasks and exams.

(8.2) Identify areas for improvement in the practice in planning, delivering

and assessing inclusive teaching and learning.
Ans: As an instructor, I want to learn as much I can improve my teaching skills and get a better
way of judgement to know my students as well.

First of all, I need to make a good road map of planning which will implemented through the
whole semester and brings a better outcome from before. It is a must to bring out the best
output from every student in a class. So, I need to identify my previous gaps in my planning and
not implementing this time. I can add some other ways of ideas of teaching students and make
understand their students in a different and unique way as well. It will improve my planning
ways and gives a new idea about my students as well.

Then I can apply different ways of their presentation on topics. I can bring some other ways of
their presentation such as destination based or travel somewhere to gain some experience and
explore those areas then make a whole summery of it after it will be presented by the students.
This will give them more interest and get an attraction to explore and learn new things and get
a good idea about something new & unknown topic from their knowledge.
Lastly having the final task completed, I can give them options of showing their output from
their performance and let them choose how they would like to provide and present their
learnings from the semester. For example, they can make projects and show them and relating
with personal life examples. Students will be more interested to learn and get a good amount
of experience from it. New ways will attract them to learn more and let them gain new ideas as
well. It will help them to have better experience with new ideas and knowledge as well.
