For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for

third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then
to the Twelve. 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the

wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed
were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions
and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by
day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received
their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all
the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being

Matthew 5:13-16
13
“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be
restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled
under people’s feet. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be
hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it
gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so
that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
I. First Lesson: Before talking to His neighbors about his Heavenly Father,
Jesus talked to his Father about His neighbors.
Luke 23:34
But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are
doing.” And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.
James 5:16b
“The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”
P L E N A RY F O U R
Matthew 3:17
“and behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom
I am well pleased.”
John 1:34
“And I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”
Luke 7:20
And when the men had come to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to
You, saying, ‘Are You the Expected One, or do we look for someone else?’”
Luke 7:22
And He answered them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the
blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear,
the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them.
25
P L E N A RY F O U R
III. Third Lesson: Jesus will not just share his faith, he will show his faith.
Matthew 5:16
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
IV. Fourth Lesson: Jesus will be authentic in the way in which he relates to
his neighbors.

you do this year to help them overcome these sticking points?

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits.
Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they?
17
So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the
fire. 20 So then, you will know them by their fruits.
Matthew 19:3-4
3
And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to
divorce one’s wife for any cause?” 4 He answered, “Have you not read that
he who created them from the beginning made them male and female,

I. Facts matter.
Proverbs 18:17
The first to speak in court sounds right—until the cross-examination begins.
1 Corinthians 15:3

to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.
1 Corinthians 15:14, 17

RE FLECTIO N
1. Check your motives. Why do you want to draw lines between truth and
lies especially with controversial issues? Is it because you want to love
people with opposing beliefs more? Or is it just to prove that you are on
the right side?
2. What is one “blurred morality” issue that impacts you personally today?
Have you taken time to study how Scripture addresses the issue and
verify the facts behind it (not just from social media)? Can you articulate
a Christ-centered, Bible-based response to this issue?

Panelists: Ardy and Miriam Roberto, Edric and Joy Mendoza
Moderator: Ptr. Erick and Norvic Totañes
Working from home has wrecked the boundaries of work as it extends far more
than the pre-pandemic office hours, and yet the irony is that everyone’s tired but
can’t seem to stop. To rest and to say “NO” doesn’t seem to be an option in a
culture that wants more, more, more.
Meanwhile, the reason why God puts a premium on keeping the Sabbath is
because it’s where we fill our empty cups so that we may return back to the
demands of life renewed, refreshed, and restored. Home and family is supposed
to provide a shelter from the hustle of the “outside world”, but when the home
becomes the hub of restlessness in our new normal, we don’t have anywhere
else to go for respite from the stress of everyday life. Is it any wonder that our
mental health have suffered as much as, if not more than our physical health in
this pandemic?
Join this workshop to get a sense of how CCF’s family ministry can provide you
the necessary support and resources to help your family return to a place of rest.
Learn from our “family champions”, couples who have practiced godly marriage
and parenting principles and habits through both their restless and rewarding
with their families.

As believers in Christ, we are to shine our light and be a salt to society around us.
Many of us though can be apathetic, ignorant or afraid of political engagement
because we do not have a solid Biblical understanding of what it means to be
in this world, but not of this world especially when it comes to our political life.
In this workshop, we will learn more about how to have a love for our country

Connecting with real people in real time in any part of the country or the world is
now possible, thanks mostly to our social media access. That we post about our
lives, our fun activities, our politics more than our faith in Christ is probably true
for most of us. But wouldn’t it be better if we weave in sharing about our faith
in Christ as we post about all the other important aspects of living in this age of
social media?
This workshop will help us know how to be intentional in sharing God’s love and
plan for salvation to others, and helping others take the next step in their spiritual
journey with Christ. Hear and learn from Christ-committed followers who also
happen to be social media influencers!

It has been said that the church is only one generation away from extinction.
Providing an intergenerational discipleship process is crucial for a church to
succeed in raising up its next generation of servant-leaders. More than that,
making sure that children, youth and young adults grow in Christlikeness involves
the close coordination and singleness of purpose between life stage ministries
in the church. This is so much easier said than done! Learn from our speakers
the principles and practices of how intergenerational discipleship can happen in
the local church.
