5. Sea/Air Parcel Receipt evidencing dispatch to the South Indian Bank Ltd.
6. Signed delivery orders/ challans in duplicate made out in favour of The South
Indian Bank Ltd or order.

7. Lloyd’s certificate that carrying steamer is seaworthy and not more than 15 years
old.
8. (I) Marine Insurance Policies/ Certificate dated not later than the date of bill of
lading unto order and blank endorsed for _________% over invoice value covering
Institute Cargo Clause “A”, Institute War Clause (Cargo) and institute Strike Clause
(Cargo) with the claims payable in India/ Insurance effected by me/us
(II)Inland Transit Insurance Policy, in duplicate, for at least the invoice value of the
goods plus 10% endorsed in blank, covering in land transit risk as per inland Transit
clause ‘A’ SRCC risk as per Institute Strike Clause (Cargo) with claims pay able
irrespective of percentage.

A transport document which is produced
a) By reprographic system or
b) By or as a result of automated or computerized systems or
c) As carbon copy
Will not be accepted as an original document even if it is marked as original or appears
to have been authenticated.
3. The transport document –
a) Must contain all the conditions of carriage on the original document.
b) Must not indicate the place of final destination as being different from the
port of discharge.
c) Must not contain the indication “Intended” or similar qualification in
relation to the vessel or other means of transport or port of loading or port
of discharge.
d) Must be issued by the carrier or his agent and not be any freight forwarder.
e) Must not contain a provision that goods may be carried on deck.

4. Transport documents bearing reference by stamp or otherwise to costs additional
to the freight charges are not acceptable.
5. Short form or blank-back transport documents are not acceptable.
6. A transport document bearing a date of issuance prior to that of the credit is not
acceptable.
7. Insurance is required to be issued irrespective of percentage.
8. Commercial invoices issued for amounts in excess of the amount permitted by the
credit are not acceptable.
