A Summarized Dialogue Story of Cinderella
Narrator 1: "Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a kind and gentle girl named
Cinderella. She lived with her cruel stepmother and stepsisters after her father passed away. They
made her do all the housework and treated her as a servant."
Lady Tremaine: "Cinderella! Sweep the floors and polish the silverware. We have no time for
your laziness!"
Drisella: “Cinders! It’s your job to clean the fireplace. That’s why you’re called Cinders! Get
it?”
Narrator 2:And before she had finished sweeping the grate, the second sister said,
Anastasia: “Cinders! Don’t dawdle. Light up the fire and make me a hot bath with sweet
smelling candles!”
Narrator 3:And as she was heating the bath, the horrid mother said
Lady Tremaine: “Cinders! Why haven’t you been to the market yet?”
Cinderella: (sighs) "Yes, Stepmother. Yes, Stepsisters. I’ll do it right away."
Narrator 1: "All day long, Cinderella swept, and scrubbed, and fetched and carried.Although
her life was filled with hardship, Cinderella remained kind-hearted and hopeful. One day, a royal
messenger arrived with exciting news."
Messenger: "Hear ye! Hear ye! The prince will hold a grand ball tomorrow night, where he will
choose his bride. All young women in the kingdom are invited."
Drisella: "The prince will surely notice me. Cinderella, prepare my dress immediately!"
Anastasia: "No, he’ll notice me! Make my hair perfect, Cinderella."
Lady Tremaine: "Cinderella, you’re not going. Stay home and clean. You know your place."
Cinderella: "But.. I wish I could go to the ball too. Even.. just to see it..."
Narrator 2: "As her stepmother and stepsisters left for the ball, Cinderella sat alone, crying in
the kitchen."
Cinderella: "It’s hopeless. I’ll never have a chance to be happy."
Narrator 3: “A mouse came up to her and said”
Mouse:“Dear, dear, don’t fret. A good fairy is outside, and she says that you shall go to the ball.”
Cinderella:“A fairy? Really? What does she want with me?
Narrator 1:Cinderella ran out to the courtyard where the good fairy appeared
Fairy Godmother: (appearing suddenly) "Why are you crying, my dear?"
Cinderella: "I wish I could go to the ball, but.. I have nothing to wear. No one would even look
at me"
Fairy Godmother: "Nonsense! With a little magic, I’ll make your wish come true."
Narrator 2: "With a wave of her wand, the Fairy Godmother transformed Cinderella. Her rags
became a beautiful gown, and glass slippers appeared on her feet. A pumpkin turned into a
carriage, and mice became horses."
Fairy Godmother: "Remember, the magic ends at midnight. Be back before the clock strikes
twelve! Enjoy my dear."
Cinderella: "Thank you, Fairy Godmother! I won’t forget."
Narrator 3: "At the ball, Cinderella captured everyone’s attention, especially the prince’s."
Prince: "Who is that enchanting lady? I must dance with her."
Narrator 1: The prince walk towards Cinderella and ask her for a dance
Prince: Beautiful lady ,may I dance with you?
Cinderella: (curtseying) "It would be an honor, Your Highness."
Narrator 1: "They danced the night away, but as the clock struck midnight, Cinderella
remembered the Fairy Godmother’s warning."
Cinderella: " Oh no!I must go!"
Prince: "Wait! Please don’t leave! I don’t even know your name."
Narrator 3: "In her haste, Cinderella left behind a glass slipper. The next day, the prince
declared he would marry the girl whose foot fit the slipper."
Narrator 1: "The prince visited every house in the kingdom until he reached Cinderella’s
home."
Lady Tremaine: (sweetly) My daughters are sure to be the ones you’re seeking, Your Grace.
Drisella: (confidently) I am certain this slipper will fit me perfectly!
Narrator: The Footman kneels again as Anastasia struggles to force her foot into the slipper.
Grand Duke: (muttering) It seems your certainty was misplaced.
Anastasia: (haughtily) Let me show you how it’s done!
Narrator 3: She also fails to fit into the slipper and stomps off in frustration.
Narrator 1: Just as they were about to leave, a soft melody floated down from above.
(Cinderella’s voice is heard singing "Lavender's Blue" offstage.)
Narrator 2: The prince turned toward the sound, his heart leaping with hope.
Prince: (calling out) Who is that? I must see her!
Lady Tremaine: (coldly) She’s just a servant girl—surely not worth your time.
Prince: (firmly) Every maiden in the kingdom must try on the slipper.
Narrator 3: The Footman kneels before Cinderella and offers her the shoe. She gently slips her
foot into it—it fits perfectly.
Grand Duke: (astonished) It fits! She is the one!
Drisella: "How is this possible? She’s just a servant!"
Anastasia: “No! This can’t be happening!
Prince: (smiling) I knew I would find you. Will you join me at the palace and be my queen?
Cinderella: (smiling warmly) Yes, Your Highness—but only if you’ll accept me as I am.
Narrator1,2 3: "Cinderella forgave her family and lived happily ever after with the prince,
proving that beauty lies from within and that kindness and courage triumph over cruelty."
