SCRIPT FOR THE OPENING PROGRAM OF THE BSP AND GSP

PART I
MARIA: Being a scouter is not an easy task since you have a lot of duties and
responsibilities to perform; however, if you live by the heart the promises and the laws
of being a scouter, nothing is impossible to do. Good Morning! Welcome to the 2024 BSP
and GSP School Day Camp of Mangga Elementary School!

AILEEN: For us to know the fulfillment of the Scout’s promises, a camping is held here
at Mangga Elementary School in which the campers are grouped together to unite and to
build a good relationship.
____ Prayer____
To start, everybody is requested to stand for our prayer to be led by Maam Marissa N.
Pascual
____ Posting of Colors and National Anthem____
MARIA: This day, we will assess the good attitudes of our scouters through our School Day
Camp. To start with, may I request everyone to please rise for the entrance of the colors and
May I call on Maam Charizabel L. Leal to conduct the Singing of Philippine National
Anthem.
_____ BSP/GSP Promise and Law______
MARIA: The Scout Oath and Law are shared by every member of the scouting group.
An oath is a way a scout agrees to act every day towards one another and other
people,
and the Law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world. To lead the Oath and
Law of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, may I call on Alwin Y. Sobrepena.

AILEEN: Girl Scouts of all ages recite and live by the ideals listed in the Girl Scout Promise
and Law. They remind us to do our best in being kind to others, respecting ourselves, making
the world a better place, and so much more.
The Girl Scout Promise is a commitment families can make to support the local Girl
Scout community as they grow, bond, and learn together. To lead the Promise and Law of the
Girl Scouts of the Philippines. May I call on Abrielle Grace F. Dizon.
MARIA: The KAB Scout Promise commits scouts to do their best to love God and their
country, do a good deed daily, and obey the KAB Scout Law. The KAB Scout Law outlines
that
scouts follow their elders, help their fellow scouts, and strive to be useful. May I call on
Renz Jayvhille D. Racraquin to lead us the Kab Scout Promise and law.

AILEEN: Girl Scouting has traditionally adopted age levels based on the developmental
characteristic of girls. The program for each age level is so designed to the needs,
requirements
and aspirations of each particular group. The approach also reflects the natural tendency in
young people to form groups according to age level and interests. For this juncture, may I
call
on _______________________ to lead the Star Scout Promise and Law.

values
