VISIT TO NEW DELHI WORLD BOOK FAIR


(FOR THE SELECTED STUDENTS OF CLASSES : IV-VIII)

Dear Parents,

Books are not only the best friend of a child but also gifts of learning. In order to stimulate and foster
the habit of reading among the students, the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India is organizing the
2025 edition New Delhi World Book Fair from 01 – 09 February 2025 at Pragati Maidan, New
Delhi. The event will be inaugurated by the Honourable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.

This year, the world book fair will highlight the theme of 'Republic@75,' focusing on the country's 75
years of the Constitution. The National Book Trust will be organizing a series of innovative activities for
school students during the Book Fair. These activities aim to inspire and encourage young minds to
develop a love for reading while engaging with books in creative and interactive ways.

In view of the above the school is organising a visit to New Delhi World Book Fair on 01
February,2025 (Saturday).

Kindly fill in the consent form for the aforesaid visit and submit the form to Ms Abha Bhardwaj (Sr
Librarian) latest by 31 January, 2025 (Friday).

PLEASE NOTE:

• All students are required to be in School Uniform with school I-Cards


• Parents are required to drop the students at 10.00am and pick their wards at 4.00 pm from the school.
