What are the names of the materials?
What parts of speech are they? (Pupils name the materials)

And what is a Noun? Nouns are names of people, animals, places,
things and events.

Look around you. Can you give examples of ( Pupils name the things inside the classroom)
noun that are here in the classroom? Teacher, table, chairs, etc.

Alright! Now you know how to identify the


nouns around us.

2. Unlocking of difficult words

Let me group you into two. ( Pupils proceed with the groupings)
Group 1 will be…
And Group 2 are…
Now, look at the board.
I have here “jumbled words” and here in the
desk are the letters from the word and was cut
into pieces.
Guess the correct word and find the correct
letters of the given word and paste it under
the jumbled words.
I will give you 3 minutes to finish.
