Fest Script: 'Science Meets Culture'

Welcome and Introduction:


(Uplifting, energetic music plays as lights brighten the stage)
Host 1: A very warm good morning honourable chief guest, respected teachers,
esteemed colleagues and our dear members of Biocenosis (The Biochemical
Society) of Kalindi College and the Department of Chemistry. We are deeply
grateful to everyone who took time away from their precious schedule to join us
today at this lecture and academic fest of our society. Welcome to Time Warp-
Where Science meets Culture 2025
Host 2: Today, we unite the wonders of scientific discovery with the rich
tapestry of global cultures, creating a unique celebration of knowledge,
creativity, and diversity.

Lamp Lighting Ceremony:


Host 2: As we begin this auspicious occasion, let us invoke the spirit of
knowledge and wisdom with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony. The
lighting of the lamp signifies the removal of darkness and the arrival of
enlightenment, a perfect representation of how science and culture illuminate
our lives.
Host 1: We would now like to invite our esteemed guests, and other dignitaries
to step forward and take part in this symbolic ceremony. [Also name all the
other dignitaries present who would go for lamp lighting ceremony]
(Soft instrumental music plays as the lamp is lit)
Host 2: May this flame inspire innovation, creativity, and unity among us all.
Let this fest be a beacon of ideas and cultural harmony.
(After the lamp lighting, a brief moment of silence or a short prayer if
appropriate)
Host 1: Thank you, esteemed guests, for gracing this ceremony. With this, we
officially commence the events.
Felicitation Ceremony :
Host 2: As a tribute to sustainability and growth, we now move on to a
special Felicitation Ceremony. We honour our distinguished guests,
respected Principle and TIC by inviting them to felicitate planters.
Host 1: We request Principle mam to felicitate the planters to our esteemed
guests.
I’d like to request the President of the Biocenosis society, to felicitate the
planter to principle mam.
Now, I request the Vice President of Biocenosis society , to felicitate the
planter to TIC mam.

Host 1: Thank you, mam and sir , for taking part in this initiative.

Introduction and Announcements of Guests Before Inaugural Speech:


Host 1: It is our honour to welcome the dignitaries and special guests who have
joined us today.
Host 1: Prof. Sanjay Kumar Sharma is a highly respected academician,
researcher, and administrator with over 33 years of diverse experience in
academia, research and development, human resource management, and
information technology-enabled education. Sir has held several prominent
positions at top institutions across India, including ISRO's Space Application
Centre, Guru Nanak Dev University, and Gautam Buddha University.
Host 2: Prof. Sanjay sir is a specialist in Nuclear Physics, Material Science,
Nanotechnology, and Artificial Intelligence, and has contributed significantly to
these fields through research and leadership. Sir has also been actively involved
with academic bodies like IETE, where he served as Chairman of the Ambala
Sub-Center, and as a member of the Executive Council at the Greater Noida
Centre.
Host 1: Throughout his career, Prof. Sanjay sir has successfully completed over
10 research projects, resulting in more than 100 publications in leading national
and international journals. Sir’s contributions to academic administration
include his role as the first Professor-Registrar for the "Leadership
Academicians Programme" at Michigan State University, USA, in 2018.
Currently, he serves at Gautam Buddha University, where he has been
instrumental in driving academic and administrative reforms. Sir also plays a
key role in supervising postgraduate and doctoral research, having guided
numerous students towards successful completion of their degrees. Sir’s
leadership and dedication continue to shape the future of research and education
at multiple levels.
Host 1: Now, to officially commence the events, I would like to invite our
esteemed guest to deliver the inaugural speech. Please give a huge round of
applause!

Host 2: Thank you so much sir for such an appraise speech. Your powerful
words have truly elevated us and we’re grateful for the experience you’ve
shared with us.

Special Address: Dr. Sourabh Sharma and ORGAN India


Host 1: Moving forward , we are privileged to have with us today Dr. Sourabh
Sharma sir, a dedicated professional making a significant impact in the field of
healthcare and organ donation awareness.
Host 1: Sir has been an integral part of ORGAN India since June 2014, serving
as Manager – Projects & Outreach. His expertise spans research, project
implementation, and public engagement, all aimed at promoting awareness of
organ donation.
Host 2: Dr. Sourabh sir is a medical graduate who has also completed a
Master's in Hospital Administration, has worked extensively in the healthcare
sector, bringing both medical proficiency and the ability to connect with people
on a personal level. Sir also manages ORGAN India’s 24-hour helpline,
ensuring critical support reaches those in need.
Host 1: ORGAN India, an initiative of the Parashar Foundation, is a non-
profit organization under the aegis of the National Organ & Tissue Transplant
Organisation (NOTTO). Its mission is to spread awareness about the
importance of organ donation and saving lives.
Host 2: Today, Dr. Sourabh sir and the ORGAN India team will conduct an
interactive awareness session on organ donation—an issue of great
significance. We urge everyone to listen, engage, and be a part of this noble
cause.
Host 1: With that, let’s welcome Dr. Sourabh Sharma sir to the stage!

Host 1: We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sourabh Sharma sir for this
enlightening and impactful session. Thank you for your invaluable insights and
for inspiring us all to be part of this noble cause.

Host 1: I would like to thank everyone for joining us for the knowledgeable
and insightful Lectures and sessions. Now I request everyone to join us in the
Sangam Parisar for rest of the events!

Quiz Competition: 'Time Twister'


Host 1: Now, it’s time to challenge our minds with an electrifying competition
that bends time itself! Welcome to 'Time Twister', our thrilling quiz focused on
Science and culture. There will be 3 rounds in the quiz. In The First round, 30
seconds would be given for each question. The qualifiers would be moving to
the next round which would have 45 seconds for each question. The Qualifiers
moving to the last and final round would have to tackle three questions for
which , they’d be given 20 minutes.
Host 2: Contestants, sharpen your minds—because in this game, every second
counts!
Host 1: Let’s welcome our participants and quizmaster as we embark on this
intellectual adventure. May the best minds win!

Host 1: For the rest of the events, we will now be moving to Sangam Parisar.
Be sure to join us there and explore the incredible experiences waiting for you!

Treasure Hunt: 'Time Traveler’s Quest'


Host 1: Now, get ready for Time Traveler’s Quest , an exhilarating treasure
hunt. For the rules of this thrilling hunt , we will have questions that the teams
would have to decode. 20 minutes would be given for each question.
HOST 2: Our members would be standing at the designated spots around the
college campus with clues and questions. The teams would have to go to each
member for the clues and question. The team that decodes the last question
quickest would be our winner.
Host 2: So, time travellers, prepare yourselves. The past, present, and future
await you! May the best explorers win!
Host 1: For the treasure hunt , I would request all participants to move to
seminar room.
(Treasure Hunt Begins)

Introduction to Cultural Events, Games, and Activities:


Host 2: What an inspiring start! Now, it’s time to ignite the spirit of festivity
with our exciting lineup.
Host 1: From mesmerizing dance performances blending traditional and
modern styles, to thought-provoking science exhibitions, there’s something here
for everyone.
Introduction to Lead Singer, Neer:
Host 2: Guys, we are thrilled to present to you the incredibly talented Neer,
whose voice has the power to captivate hearts and elevate spirits.
Host 1: So sit back, relax, and let the music take over!

Awarding Ceremony:
Host 1: What an amazing journey today has been! As we wrap up our fest , we
hope you’ve been inspired, entertained, and maybe even learned something new.
Host 2: It’s been incredible to see science and culture come together in such
creative and meaningful ways.
Host 1: Before we go, let’s recognize the stars of today — our winners and
participants. We’ll begin the award distribution now.
