Internet access + trying to study = chaos

Access flow the easiest way-

Wake up and get work within 90 seconds of waking up.

For 15 minutes you will struggle.

Then you will enter flow.

Work for 1-3 hours straight in this flow state,

And then take a break.

Like- Meditation, shower, breakfast.

Then enter flow again.

Tip- Plan everything night before,

Give yourself at least 30 minutes per night to plan out your calendar.

Problems-

If I work in the first 1-3 hours post waking up, when will I meditate as
every will wake up?

How will I enter flow state round 2 with distractions like- being
constantly disturbed, food being served on table?

How to access the flow in the middle of the day-

First of all, if you are feeling tired or demotivated,

It might be sign that you high allostatic load,

Which has been gathered from hours of stress work from the day or past
couple of days.
So the first task is to clear the allostatic load by indulging in active
recovery,

Which could include- meditation, taking shower, napping 15-20 minutes,

cold plunge, etc.

Then you can start the cycle of flow.

Here’s how the cycle looks like-

Struggle -> Release -> Flow -> Recover

In struggle phase you keep doing the work even if you don’t feel like it,

Or feel you should quit.

This is the time when the effort putted in doesn’t gives much results,

And every problems seems difficult to be answered.

This phase is associated with high stress, adrenaline and metabolism.

This lasts 25 minutes.

This is the most difficult part.

Once completed things will get easier.

Next comes the phase of release.

This the phase before the big wave.

This lasts 5-10 minutes.

During this phase you take a boring break by just sitting on table & doing
nothing.

Next comes the phase of focus.

This is the main wave.

During this phase dopamine, nephrophrine and serotonin get higher,

Meaning deeper focus.

This lasts 45 minutes.

Time will seem to past out real quick,

Work will get done in a snap,

And solutions of answers could be found easily.

The allostatic load after this phase increases.

Therefore recovery is important.

This when you should indulge in active recovery for 15 minutes.

And then start the cycle again.
