The rising need for food is one of the many reasons contributing to the nation's expanding food

Day 3
On Day 3 of our preparation, March 5, 2024, our morning began with a demonstration by Sir.
Following his lead, I wasn't certain if it was break time or Mr. Gacosta's period, but it reminded
me of our recess when Sir Rod instructed us to head downstairs because Ma'am Liza would be
teaching us for the next two weeks while we focused on selling. During recess, I joined Jhesarie,
Angela, Angel, Clarisse, and Joyce Nicole. It was during this time that I realized I had lost 100
pesos. The realization struck as we were about to purchase lunch. Borrowing money from
begin our tasks. I promptly assisted in cutting magazines for decorative banners. Once cut, I
stapled them to straws for hanging. Jhesarie and I worked together, with her hanging the banners
while awaiting her group mates. We continued hanging the banners, occasionally taking breaks
for tasks like sweeping before resuming stapling. When lunchtime arrived, Sir instructed us to
take a break, during which I realized my money was missing again. Reluctantly, I borrowed
After lunch, we resumed work, hanging curtains while some of our group members relaxed.
There were others in the group who seemed distrustful and became upset when not assisted, yet
declined help when offered. This left us unsure of how to proceed. Eventually, we completed our
booth preparation and it was time to head home to prepare for the opening. We stopped by the
Day 4
Finally, the day everyone has been eagerly awaiting—our opening day! Excitement fills
the air as we prepare for the grand event. As always, we're asked to arrive early for preparations,
and although I'm not early, I manage not to be late either. Before heading in, I need to take care
of a few things: preparing breakfast and getting ready. The most troublesome part is waiting for
transportation as I rely on hitching rides, and today the traffic is particularly bothersome.
Thankfully, someone picks me up, and before entering the school, we stop to buy some ice. I
arrive at the school just before 6:40, relieved that I'm not late.
Upon arrival, I immediately pitch in to help prepare the merchandise as the grand opening
program is set to begin in a few hours. Things are relatively calm at this point, though my sister
is already busy. Soon, Sir announces the imminent start of the program and instructs us to leave
our booths to fix ourselves up before the teachers and more students arrive. The program
commences with Fevy and Myles as hosts, and Princess leading the prayer. Our group performs
last, and though I'm a bit nervous, we manage to finish our performance. Sir delivers a speech
before the ribbon-cutting ceremony begins. Once the ribbon is cut, we rush back to our booths to
As customers flood in, each of us is assigned tasks. I start by chopping onions for the sisig, then
move on to preparing egg sandwiches with Joyce, while Johnrey assists by packaging them.
After that, I help Sally cook the sisig, estimating the measurements of the ingredients. Once
cooked, we serve them in paper meal boxes. I also prepare cold drinks and enlist Jerome's help in
bringing mineral water for the beverages. We display everything and I assist in preparing nacho
fries to expedite our service, anticipating the rush during recess. Recess arrives, and with it, a
surge of students. We're all bustling with activity, trying to keep up with the demand. Some of
our group members start to panic. Amidst the chaos, our leader directs harsh words towards one
of our members who made a mistake in purchasing supplies. It's disheartening to witness such
behavior, especially in front of others. We're all under stress and fatigue, but that doesn't justify
mistreating our fellow group members. I hope they realize the importance of supporting each
downtime. Some pack up while I clean up our kitchen area. With our tasks completed, we take a
well-deserved rest. One of our group members falls into a deep sleep, seemingly exhausted. I
wonder what they did, considering they only stuck stickers with the logo on the paper meal
boxes. Nevertheless, we move on to lunchtime. Joyce and I head out to eat, inviting our friends
to join us. Over lunch, we reflect on the day's events. After finishing our meal, we wait for Sir to
arrive and check in using our DTR. We tidy up a few things before it's time to head home.
Despite the challenges and tensions, it's been a successful day. We've learned valuable lessons
Day 5
As usual, I woke up early at 3:00 am to prepare the filling for our sandwiches, which was egg
mixed with mayo. This task was assigned to me because apparently, I'm good at mixing and it
turns out delicious. So, I began by boiling the eggs and then meticulously peeling and cutting
them into small pieces. I separated the egg yolks from the whites, seasoning the yolks with
mayonnaise before mixing them back together. After tasting it, I felt it needed a bit more flavor,
so I added salt, pepper, and even a dash of condensed milk to enhance the taste. With the filling
ready, I took a brief rest before heading to the market around 4:30 am to buy some milk for
My ride arrived promptly at 6:30 am, and before heading to school, we stopped to purchase some
ice for our drinks. Arriving at school around 6:50 am, I promptly got to work, starting with
preparing the egg sandwiches, which was always my first task upon arrival. Once the sandwiches
were done, I moved on to slicing tofu and onions for the sisig. Sally and I then took charge of
cooking the sisig, knowing that it was in high demand even before recess began. Our sisig sold
out quickly, much to the delight of our customers who praised its deliciousness.
With the sisig taken care of, I turned my attention to frying some corn dogs, assisting Hasegawa
in shaping them before frying. Despite their imperfect shape, our corn dogs were a hit and sold
out quickly. As recess approached, we finished with the corn dogs and I transitioned to preparing
nachos and fries. As the students and teachers began to arrive for recess, we ensured all our
products were ready for sale. With everything prepared, some of us manned the cashier while
After recess, some leftovers remained, prompting our leader to go around selling them to ensure
nothing went to waste. With everything sold out, we returned to our booth to rest and tidy up.
After cleaning our respective areas and rearranging, Joyce and I retreated to the back to rest until
lunchtime. Lunchtime arrived, and we clocked out with Sir before buying food outside. After
enjoying our meal together, we clocked back in and returned to our booth to assess if there was
anything left to do. Finding no further tasks, we returned to our hut to write this diary entry and
It's Friday, which means it's a half-day as usual. Despite this, I still woke up early to begin
preparations for the egg sandwiches. Afterward, I took a quick bath, got dressed, and made a trip
to purchase ice before heading to school. Upon arrival, I dove straight into my routine tasks of
preparing the egg sandwiches and slicing onions and tofu. It's a repetitive process, but necessary
for our sales success. Once everything was ready, we began selling, and before we knew it, all
With sales completed, it was time to clean up our kitchen area and wash the utensils. Today, I
was assigned to help with cleaning alongside Joyce and Marielle. As we tidied up, we realized
we had run out of sisig due to insufficient chicken, leaving many disappointed customers
searching for it. After cleaning our booth, we finished early. Once the utensils were washed, we
took a quick trip to the restroom before retreating to our hut to rest. While awaiting time-out, we
chatted about the events of the day. Later, Princess gathered us to distribute tasks for each group
member to do at home. My task was to prepare the egg sandwiches. As the day came to an end,
As per my routine, I woke up early, setting my alarm to ensure I had ample time to prepare the
ingredients for the egg sandwiches. However, upon realizing we were short on seasonings like
pepper and salt, I made a quick trip to the market to purchase them before returning home to
complete the preparations. Following this, I took a leisurely shower that lasted around 50
minutes before dressing and getting ready for school. Before entering, we stopped by grandma's
Upon arrival at school, I headed straight to our booth to begin preparing the ingredients for the
egg sandwiches and promptly displayed them. After this, I assisted in cooking hotdogs, spam,
and eggs, engaging in conversation with Marielle while we worked. Once the cooking was
completed, I helped prepare paper meal boxes for the silog meals and assisted in preparing the
As recess approached, our products were nearly ready, with only a few leftovers remaining. We
decided to sell these leftovers by circulating around the junior high school section, where they
were quickly snapped up by eager students. Returning to our booth, we then took a break in our
resting area, where we were joined by friends who had nothing else to do. We spent the time
chatting until it was time for lunch.Clocking out for lunch, we signed our DTR with Sir and
bought food from our friends' stalls to enjoy together in our hut. However, during the meal, I
suddenly experienced a strange sensation in my neck, causing it to cramp. I asked Clemente for a
massage, but the situation worsened, and I began to have difficulty breathing, leading to panic
among those around me. Angela was particularly concerned, and I found myself crying
uncontrollably.
Recognizing the severity of the situation, Sir Rod was called to assist since there was no teacher
present in the clinic at that time. Concerned for my well-being, Sir Rod arranged for me to be
taken to the hospital, deciding to accompany me himself. We rented a tricycle and promptly
arrived at the hospital, where I was examined by a doctor who prescribed medication and
administered an injection.Due to the absence of my parents, Sir kindly took charge of purchasing
the prescribed medication and administering the injection. Once my guardian arrived, the details
of the prescription were explained, and it was decided that we would return home as further
laboratory tests were deemed unaffordable. However, I opted to stay at school until dismissal,
At dismissal, Sir ensured I got home safely, signing my DTR and advising me to rest. I returned
home with the preparations for the egg sandwich, grateful for the care and support provided by
Day 8
before delving into the preparation of ingredients for our egg sandwiches. Anticipating the busy
day ahead, I had already boiled the eggs the previous evening, making the process smoother in
the morning. After peeling the boiled eggs and seasoning them with mayo, salt, pepper, and
condensed milk, I prepared the sandwiches, ensuring they were ready for sale.
Following breakfast and a brief rest, I occupied myself with some leisure time, browsing through
Facebook and watching reels on my phone until around 5:40 am, when I proceeded to take a
shower and complete my preparations for the day. Waiting outside for my boyfriend, who
accompanied me to school, I utilized the time to pack necessary items for the day. Once he
arrived, we purchased ice from his grandmother's store before making our way to school,
arriving around 6:50 am.Upon reaching our booth, I immediately began the task of preparing the
egg sandwiches, a routine that had become second nature to me. With that completed, I moved
on to slicing onions for the sisig and cooking ham and hotdogs for the silog meals. Additionally,
I prepared jjampong, with assistance from Kyle and Joyce, before taking a brief break.
Resuming work, I joined Kyle and Joyce in preparing nachos and fries, completing our product
lineup just in time for the influx of students during recess at 9:20 am. As Princess and Hasegawa
managed sales at the front of the booth, the rest of us engaged in cleaning the kitchen area to
maintain tidiness. Later, I assisted in refilling jjampong containers with hot water for customers
and then retreated to our resting area with Joyce, as the heat at the booth became uncomfortable.
With no further tasks and no turn for cleaning, we spent time chatting with friends, during which
was time to clock back in. Following Sir's arrival, we signed in and proceeded to clean the
remaining mess at the booth before returning to our resting area. Unexpectedly, Sir mentioned in
the group chat about checking our diaries, prompting us to hastily complete our entries. By 4:30
pm, I had my diary checked by Sir, who instructed me to add the dates before signing off on my
DTR. Afterward, I gathered my belongings and made my way home, arriving at 5:00 pm.
Day 9
Just like every other day, I rose at 3:00 am to prepare the ingredients for our signature egg
sandwich. Having boiled the eggs the previous night, I simply peeled them in the early hours of
the morning. Gathering all the necessary tools and ingredients—knife, cutting board, plate,
mayo, pepper, salt, and condensed milk—I meticulously sliced and separated the egg
components. After crushing and seasoning the white part with mayo, pepper, salt, and condensed
milk, I set it aside and went to the market to replenish our supplies of condensed milk, an
optional yet preferred addition. I also grabbed breakfast for myself before returning home to
continue preparing the sandwich. After adding condensed milk to the mixture and conducting a
taste test, I left it to marinate while enjoying my own breakfast, toasted to perfection. As I ate, I
indulged in watching videos on my phone, particularly reels, until around 5:15 am when I took
am. Realizing it was already getting late, I hurriedly left for school at 6:30 am, stopping by my
grandma's place en route to purchase ice. Upon arriving at school around 7:10 am, I quickly
joined my teammates at the booth, where I was assigned the task of cooking fried rice. Sautéing
garlic in margarine before adding the rice and magic seasoning, I spent the next 20 minutes
engrossed in this culinary endeavor. Shortly after, I teamed up with Clemente to cook another
batch of fried rice, which turned into a lively and enjoyable cooking session filled with laughter
and banter. By 8:30 am, I shifted to preparing sisilog in paper meal boxes with Miyuki, followed
by nachos and fries alongside Kyle and Clemente. Running out of fries necessitated cooking
more, prolonging our task but adding to the camaraderie. With our products ready and the booth
cleaned, we retreated to our resting area to unwind, having sold out our items and thus avoiding
further sales efforts. We awaited lunchtime, clocking out at 11:50 am to sign our DTR with Sir
Following lunch, we awaited Sir's return for time-in, engaging in light conversation and
preparing for his arrival. Once he arrived, we clocked back in at 12:30 pm and completed the
remaining cleaning tasks swiftly, as we had tidied up earlier. By 1 pm, with the booth spotless
and organized, we returned to our resting area, opting to stay away from the heat and lack of
seating at the booth. I'd like to note an issue we encountered with the tents due to strong winds,
which required us to address collapsed structures before completing our tasks. With everything
resolved, we returned to the back to complete my diary entry. Upon finishing, we signed our
As usual, I woke up early again at 3:00 am. After getting up, I washed my face and brushed my
teeth. Around 3:20, I peeled the boiled egg I had prepared the night before. However, I realized
that we didn't have a knife at home because my stepfather uses them for his work. So I had to
wait for him to arrive before I could start. While waiting, I scrolled through Facebook on my
phone. Finally, around 3:40, my stepfather arrived, and I remembered that I needed to buy some
ingredients for making egg sandwiches. Since the market was nearby and open at that time, I
went to buy what I needed. I left the eggs I was preparing at home and returned after buying
Back home, I continued preparing the sandwiches by separating the egg yolks from the whites
and seasoning them. I mashed the yolks, mixed everything together, and sliced the whites into
small pieces. I combined the whites with the seasoned yolks and prepared the toast with
margarine. However, I realized that I didn't buy enough margarine, so I had to go back to the
market to get more. I also bought matches for our gas stove. Once I returned, I finished toasting
the bread and had my breakfast. After eating, I cleaned up and washed the utensils I used. Then I
went back to my room to rest, but I ended up falling asleep again. When I woke up, it was
already 6:00 am, so I quickly got up and rushed to take a shower. After 20 minutes, I finished
showering and got dressed. It was already 6:40, so I hurriedly prepared everything I needed to
bring, including the egg sandwiches and toast. I waited for my boyfriend to pick me up, but he
was late. Finally, at around 7:10, he arrived, and we headed to his grandmother's store to buy ice.
I was annoyed because we were already running late. After buying ice, we went to school.
Since we were late, I quickly walked to our booth and started preparing the egg sandwiches.
However, I realized that we didn't have enough bread, so I had to stop preparing. I took on
another task and cooked eggs for the "silog" meals. After cooking the fried rice, I stopped frying
the eggs and handed them over to my coworker for her to prepare the "silog" meals. We prepared
paper meal boxes for sisilog, hamsilog, hotsilog, and others. We ran out of fried rice, so we
asked Arnold to cook more. Once it was done, we finished preparing the remaining meals.
Around 9:20, someone ordered jjampong, so I prepared it with the toppings. We ran out of eggs,
so I boiled more. After recess, there weren't many students left, and we didn't have much to do.
So Joyce and I went to the back to take a short break. At around 10:00, we were called back to
clean up and prepare to rest. Clemente was assigned to wash the dishes, but he asked for help
from Katrina, who refused. Miyuki ended up helping Clemente. Once we finished cleaning, we
went back to the resting area until lunch break. At 11:50, it was lunch break, and Sir Rod told us
to sign the attendance form so we could have lunch. I wrote down the time we would be out on
my form. Marielle made a mistake on her form, so I corrected it. Then we had our lunch quickly
because we had to go to our classroom for the NAT exam review. After the review, we went
back to our booth. It was already around 4:00 pm, and some of us went home. I went to get my
Day 11
away because I forgot to do it the night before and I slept early. I set a timer for seven minutes
and went back to my room to lie down while waiting for it to finish. I scrolled through Facebook
while waiting. After seven minutes, I discarded the boiling water and replaced it with fresh water
to cool down the egg. I let it soak for two minutes and then peeled it. After peeling, I didn't
season it yet because it was still early, so I went back to lie down. At 4:05, I started preparing the
egg sandwich. I separated the yolk and white parts, seasoned the yolk with mayo, pepper, and
salt, and sliced the white into small pieces. I mixed them together and tasted it to make sure it
was perfect. Then I went back to lie down to pass the time since it was still early. I fell asleep
again and woke up around 5:40. I took a shower and got dressed.
By 6:20, I was ready and my boyfriend arrived to pick me up. Miyuki messaged me to buy eggs
and she would pay me back because we were running low (thankfully I read the message). We
went to buy eggs and also bought ice from my grandmother. After buying the eggs and ice, we
entered the school premises at 6:40. I didn't prepare the egg sandwich right away because the
eggs I brought were not enough. Princess boiled the eggs at school and she sliced them. While
she was slicing, I seasoned them again to be ready for the sandwich later. When Princess finished
slicing, the taste was almost perfect, so I started making the sandwiches.
After that, I cooked the eggs for the "silog" meals and prepared the paper meal boxes for display
at the cashier. Once we finished, I fried French fries for the "Sipsiyum" (Nachos with fries).
After that, I prepared the Nachos with fries. I took a short break, and then it was recess time. The
students came rushing in, and we were busy preparing and serving. After recess, we finished
serving and cleaned up the booth. We had nothing else to do, so we rested and washed the
utensils we used. After that, we rested in our designated area until lunch break. At 11:50, it was
lunch break, and we signed the attendance form. We had our lunch and chatted about what
happened during the day. After eating, we just lay down because there was nothing else to do at
the booth. While resting, I continued writing my diary. When it was time to go home, Sir came
and we signed the attendance form to clock out. I took my belongings and went home.
Day 12
At 4:10 am, I woke up. Nothing new, my usual routine after waking up is to wash my face and
brush my teeth. After that, I started peeling the boiled eggs that I prepared the night before. Once
I finished peeling, I started cutting the eggs in half to separate the egg yolks from the whites. I
prioritize seasoning the egg yolks with ingredients before adding them back together. Before
seasoning, I mash the yolks with a spoon. After that, I season them with mayo, salt, pepper, and
condensed milk. Then, I cut the whites into small pieces and put them together in one container. I
mix them thoroughly, adding more seasoning if needed to make it perfect and delicious. Once I
finished preparing them, I had bread for breakfast. Then, I scrolled through Facebook, watched
reels, and enjoyed my morning meal. Fast-forward, I finished eating around 5:30 am, so it was
still early.
I decided to go back to my room to pass the time and took a short nap because I was still sleepy.
But don't worry, I set an alarm to wake up at exactly 6:00 am. And yes, I woke up right on time
because I heard my alarm right next to my ear. I immediately got up to take a quick shower.
After showering, I quickly got ready since it was already late. After getting ready, I prepared the
items I needed to bring to school and waited for someone to pick me up. Actually, we were just
going together, hehe. It was already 6:30 am, so I messaged my boyfriend to pass by his
grandmother to get ice before picking me up. Then, fast-forward, he arrived at his house and
bought the ice, so we headed straight to school. We arrived at school around 7:00 am, and I
When I reached our booth, the bread was just being toasted, so I waited for it to finish. Then, I
added the filling again because it felt like it lacked flavor. I tasted it myself to make sure since I
couldn't taste anything at that moment. Once it tasted okay (according to them), and the bread
was toasted, I started preparing egg sandwiches. It was quick to prepare, especially when there
are others helping, so I finished preparing them and placed them on the counter for display and
selling. After that, I proceeded to prepare the "silog" meals. At around 8:30 am, Miyuki,
Angelica, Joyce, and I started preparing. I was in charge of placing sisig, egg, and toppings
(onions and calamansi) in the paper meal boxes. We ran out of fried rice, so we paused the
preparation since we already made a lot of "silog" meals. We paused and fried more rice quickly.
While waiting for it, I sliced onions. After a few minutes, Arnold finished frying the rice, so we
continued with the preparation of the paper meal boxes. Once we finished preparing the "silog"
meals, I also prepared cups of jjampong since there was no display outside, and it was also
selling fast. I just kept filling the cups, and they were easily consumed. A
fter that, everything was done. There was no more preparation or cooking needed. We just
needed to clean our kitchen, wash the cooking utensils, and continue selling. When there were
already customers at the cashier, I started cleaning with others in the kitchen to speed things up.
Some were already washing the utensils we used. When everything was finished, Joyce and I
decided to go to our resting area to take a break and pass the time. Fast-forward, it was
lunchtime. We signed our DTR (Daily Time Record) with Sir to be able to eat. After eating, we
rested and wrote in our diaries until the end of the day. Fast-forward, it was time to go home. We
signed our DTR with Sir to clock out and had our diaries checked. Then, we went home. Before
going home, I grabbed the things I needed to bring with me. The end.
Day 13
At 4:10 a.m., I woke up as usual. Following my routine, I washed my face and brushed my teeth.
Then, I began peeling the boiled eggs I had prepared the night before. After finishing peeling, I
halved the eggs to separate the yolks from the whites. I prioritize seasoning the egg yolks before
reuniting them with the whites. To do this, I mash the yolks with a spoon and season them with
mayo, salt, pepper, and condensed milk. Next, I diced the whites and combined them in a
container. Thoroughly mixing, I adjusted the seasoning as needed to achieve the desired taste.
Once done, I enjoyed bread for breakfast while browsing Facebook and watching reels.
Fast forward to around 5:50 a.m., I took a shower and got ready. By 6:20 a.m., I gathered my
belongings for school and waited for a ride. I hitched a ride with someone else, and at 6:30 a.m.,
I asked my boyfriend to pick up some ice from his grandmother's store before picking me up.
Skipping ahead, we arrived at school around 6:40 a.m. I hurried to the booth where Joyce was
toasting bread. While waiting, I added more filling to the sandwiches. Once the bread was ready,
I began frying eggs and preparing sandwiches. Meanwhile, Sally cooked sisig, and Miyuki and I
assembled "silog" meals in paper boxes. After realizing we were short on fried rice, we quickly
made more.
With time to spare, I rested until the rice was ready. Then, I resumed my tasks. Once all the
cooking was complete, we tidied the booth and refilled cups of jjampong at the cashier.
Afterward, we decided not to wash utensils as others were already handling it.
With nothing left to do, we took a break in the resting area, where I wrote in my diary. Later,
Princess informed us of leftover items to sell. Joyce, Clemente, Angelica, Kyle, Marielle, and I
went around Bartolome to sell them. Despite initial challenges, we sold out by 12:10 p.m., thanks
After a late lunch, I continued writing in my diary until around 3:00 p.m., when Sachi and
Princess returned. At 3:30 p.m., they called us to clean up. Clemente, Marielle, Johnrey, and I
washed utensils. After signing out, Marielle and Johnrey left promptly. Joyce remained to help
By 5:00 p.m., only three of us were left. Realizing we couldn't finish washing, we decided to
soak the dishes for the next day. After tidying the booth, we headed home, leaving the rest for
Day 14
Of course, since it was the last day, I woke up at 5:00 a.m. because I hadn't prepared anything for
egg sandwiches, considering it was our final day of selling. The decision was made to sell the
remaining items rather than making more. So, around 5:30 a.m., I had breakfast, which consisted
of bread. While eating, I scrolled through Facebook. Then, at approximately 5:40 a.m., I checked
my messages to see if anyone needed me to buy anything from the market, but there were no
requests. Therefore, I decided to take a shower around 5:50 a.m. By 6:10 a.m., I had finished
showering and getting ready. We were about to leave by around 6:40 a.m., but before that, we
stopped by my boyfriend's grandmother's store to get ice. By 6:50 a.m., we had already arrived at
school.
Upon my arrival, I immediately began preparing the nachos fries (which we called sipsiyum).
Once that was done, I assisted Miyuki in preparing the hotsilog and hamsilog in paper meal
boxes. These were the only rice meals we had since it was the last day, and there were fewer
students due to some not having classes. After finishing the preparation, there wasn't much left to
do as we had only prepared a small amount for today's sales. We finished early since there were
With only the nachos remaining, we decided to go around the classrooms to sell and finish them
off, as it was almost dismissal time and we were concerned that they wouldn't sell afterward. We
managed to sell some, but we still had some leftover drinks. So, we decided to consume them
Around 11:40 a.m., we started cleaning up and tidying our things, excited about our payday. We
had some leftover items that we couldn't use anymore, so I took home the magic, salt, pepper,
and betchin, along with the plastic containers. After tidying up the booth a bit, I swept the floor,
and Miyuki and I went upstairs to clean the classroom as we were assigned as the cleaners for
that room. Afterward, we rested upstairs and discussed what we would each spend our pay on. I
mentioned buying some things for myself, and Miyuki said the same.
Around 12:20 p.m., Princess called us down because she was going to distribute our pay. We
eagerly awaited the moment of truth. While the money was being divided, we cleaned up a bit
downstairs. By 1:20 p.m., Princess called our group to start dividing the money. It was the
moment of truth, and we had an agreement that if we received 2k, I would cry. When it was my
turn, I was shocked to receive more than 2k, filling me with tears of joy. After dividing the
money, we were informed that our total earnings were 40k. We were all surprised and happy
because we had the highest earnings. Then, we went home. Thank you, Lord. The end.
The narrator experienced a major setback on Day 3 of the school's fundraising event: she lost 100
pesos, which is a sizable sum for a student's daily costs. This instance highlights more general
worries about the safety of personal property in educational settings, casting doubt on the
efficacy of current security measures and the frequency of theft or misplacement of property.
The fact that the loss not only made it more difficult for the narrator to buy lunch right away but
also required her to borrow money from a friend raises the possibility of financial disparities
among students. To further emphasize the need for supportive interventions to address the social
and emotional ramifications of financial issues within the school community, consider how
Overall, the student's loss of money on Day 3 brings to light complicated issues with safety,
budgeting, and social dynamics in the classroom, calling for preventative measures to protect
personal property and ensure that all students have equal access to resources.
Discussion:
The perspective of the financial loss on Day 3 of the school's fundraising campaign forces a
thorough analysis of a number of related problems in the school setting. First of all, the event
highlights holes in the security procedures that are now in place, prompting questions about how
effective the safeguards are in protecting individual possessions. This begs the question of how
common it is for items to be stolen or misplaced on school property, which can have a serious
Furthermore, the necessity of borrowing money from friends brings attention to more general
problems with student financial inequality. Some people might be able to afford unforeseen
costs, while others might have trouble getting the money they need, which makes it harder for
them to fully engage in school activities. This part of financial readiness reflects potential

Conclusion:
The point of view of financial loss on Day 3 of the school's fundraising campaign forces a
thorough analysis of a number of related problems in the school setting.
This part of financial readiness reflects potential
structural disparities within the school community and interacts with larger socioeconomic
factors.
Furthermore, having to borrow money from a friend can have a big impact on pupils' social and

incident also emphasizes the significance of proactive interventions to promote student safety
and well-being. Addressing these social and emotional aspects of financial challenges is crucial
for fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture where students feel comfortable seeking
assistance and where resources are readily available to support those in need. This can entail
putting in place extra security measures, such heightened monitoring, locker rooms, or awareness
programs to address issues with theft or property loss. Moreover, initiatives should be taken to
offer resources and support to students who are having financial issues, guaranteeing that
everyone in the school community has access to the help they need and the chance to participate.
The point of view of financial loss on Day 3 of the fundraising event brings to light difficult
problems with safety, budgeting, and interpersonal relationships in the school setting. In order to
increase student safety, equity, and well-being, addressing these issues calls for a comprehensive
strategy that includes supporting interventions in addition to structural reforms. Schools can
create a safer and more inclusive environment that supports the academic and personal
In addition, Theoretical frameworks like Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs offer insight into the
incident's larger ramifications in addition to practical solutions. Maslow asserts that before
pursuing higher-order needs like belongingness and esteem, people must first have their basic
physiological and safety needs satisfied. Losing money and experiencing financial difficulty can
make it difficult for students to satisfy their fundamental necessities, which can increase stress
and lower wellbeing. In order to assist students' holistic development and academic performance,
schools can foster an atmosphere that meets their basic needs by addressing security
The tragedy also emphasizes the significance of addressing student well-being using a trauma-
like loss or financial hardship—may have an effect on students' mental and emotional well-
being. To support those impacted by the event, schools can use trauma-informed practices
including offering access to counseling services or establishing safe areas where kids can express
their emotions. Schools may help kids develop resilience and healing by using a trauma-
informed lens. This will enable children to overcome obstacles and flourish in the face of
hardship.
CASE 2: Communication and Conflict Resolution
Tensions in the group emerged on Day 5 of the fundraising campaign as some members
expressed dissatisfaction with what they saw as an unfair task distribution and a lack of support
from others. This draws attention to more general problems with group dynamics including
communication and conflict resolution. The incident also emphasizes the significance of clearly
defined roles and responsibilities within the group, as ambiguity can exacerbate tensions and
create confusion. The inability to effectively communicate concerns and resolve conflicts can
undermine teamwork and productivity, leading to discord and dissatisfaction among group
members. A group's capacity to function cohesively toward shared objectives may be hampered
by anger and dissatisfaction if there are unclear rules regarding task distribution and
accountability.
The incident also gives the group a chance to evaluate their communication and conflict
resolution techniques, pinpointing areas for development and putting helpful solutions into
practice. Moreover, the lack of trust and cooperation among group members may be a reflection
of deeper interpersonal dynamics and unresolved conflicts that call for attention and intervention.
The group can create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere where members feel heard and
appreciated by encouraging candid communication, attentive listening, and respect for one
another.
Through this, the incident emphasizes the critical role that communication and conflict resolution
play in fostering a positive and productive group dynamic. Effective conflict resolution skills,
such as compromise, negotiation, and empathy, are essential for addressing differences

The incident that happened on the fifth day of the fundraising event serves as a heartbreaking
reminder of how important it is to resolve conflicts and have excellent communication within
groups. Misunderstandings can occur when communication channels malfunction or lose their
effectiveness, which can cause group members to feel disconnected, resentful, and frustrated.
These unpleasant feelings have the power to intensify unsolved disputes fast, resulting in a
As a result, the group's overall cohesiveness and productivity may suffer as members focus more
on internal conflict than on cooperating to achieve common goals. In addition, the lack of clearly
defined roles and responsibilities within the group makes matters worse by making members feel
uncertain about their expectations and contributions. Without a formalized process for handling
disputes, complaints could go unanswered, festering under the surface and undermining group
members' faith. This lack of trust can be especially harmful since it erodes the basis for

For conflicts to be addressed and solutions that support the group's interests as a whole to be
found, effective conflict resolution techniques like negotiation and mediation must be used.
Furthermore, developing empathy and tolerance for different points of view promotes a feeling
of cohesion and unity, enhancing interpersonal connections and team dynamics as a whole.
Ultimately, managing the intricacies of group dynamics and fostering a pleasant and productive
atmosphere depend heavily on the development and refinement of effective communication and

and animosity, which can cause divisions within the group. Unresolved disputes linger beneath
To reduce confusion and enable each member to make a significant contribution, positions and
responsibilities must be clearly defined. Grievances may remain unresolved, undermining peer
cohesiveness and trust in the absence of a structure for handling disagreements. On the other

because they are foundational to success in both the classroom and the real world. Let's keep in
mind that reaching our common objectives and realizing our full potential depend on our
capacity to respectfully resolve disagreements and communicate honestly as we negotiate the
Furthermore, the incident that occurred on Day 5 of the fundraising event highlights the crucial
role that effective communication and conflict resolution play in group dynamics, especially
when combined with insights from social psychology. According to social identity theory, people

Health emergencies during school hours present serious difficulties and dangers to the safety and
well-being of students. The incident that occurred on Day 7 of the fundraising event serves as a
reminder of how susceptible students are to unanticipated health problems that could cause
disruptions to the event and need for urgent medical attention. The severity of health

Discussion:
Health crises during school functions can have a big impact on the safety and wellbeing of the
students. The narrator's experience of breathing difficulties on Day 7 of the fundraising effort
emphasizes the unpredictability of such events and the potential difficulties they may present.
The lack of sufficient medical staff and resources in a school setting makes matters worse in the
event of a medical emergency because students might not receive prompt and appropriate care.
In addition, staff members and students are ill-prepared to deal with medical emergencies when
there is no comprehensive emergency response plan in place. There's a chance that pupils won't
get the care they need if there are unclear procedures in place. This could lead to delays in
The inability to provide the necessary care and support to individuals in need can also be
hampered by the emotional distress and panic brought on by health emergencies. Financial
limitations and restricted access to healthcare resources may also affect students' capacity to
receive prompt and sufficient treatment during health emergencies. When students need medical
treatment that goes beyond what the school can provide, they can have trouble getting access to
outside providers, which could further jeopardize their health. In addition, there are worries
regarding pupils' capacity to independently seek assistance and navigate healthcare systems in an
emergency when parents are not present to supervise them during school hours.
A multifaceted strategy that includes preventive measures, emergency preparedness, and access
to quality medical treatment is needed to address health emergency issues in schools. The
creation and execution of thorough emergency response plans that specify precise procedures for
recognizing, handling, and responding to medical situations must be given top priority in
schools. In order to ensure that students have timely access to medical care and support during
emergencies, collaboration with local healthcare providers and community resources is essential.
Training staff and students in basic first aid and emergency procedures can also enhance
Schools can lessen the impact of budgetary constraints and guarantee that students have access to
the required healthcare services when needed by forming partnerships and resource-sharing
agreements. Additionally, educating staff, parents, and students on the significance of health and
safety procedures can support the development of a resilient and prepared culture within the
school community.
Conclusion:
The medical incident that occurred on Day 7 of the fundraising campaign emphasizes how
crucial it is to put students' safety and well-being first in the classroom. It emphasizes the
necessity of taking preventative action to address and lessen the dangers related to unanticipated
medical emergencies. This occurrence has led to several realizations, one of which is the
pressing need for schools to make investments in thorough emergency preparation plans that
provide explicit guidelines for recognizing, handling, and efficiently responding to medical
situations.
In addition, the incident highlights how susceptible students are to medical emergencies and how
important it is for schools to prioritize and allocate resources for student health and safety. Such
plans should include preventive measures, staff training in first aid and emergency procedures,
and collaboration with local healthcare providers to ensure timely access to medical care. It
serves as a reminder of how erratic emergencies can be and how crucial it is to be ready to act
students, as the lack of sufficient medical personnel and resources within the school setting
underscores. It is also important to recognize the emotional toll that health emergencies take on
students, as they can exacerbate already complex situations by inciting panic and distress. When
there is a health emergency, schools should put their students' emotional support and wellbeing
first. They should offer counseling and other tools to assist them get through the ordeal. In order

This event should serve as a reminder to us as students to prioritize our health and safety and to
be watchful for any indications of distress or medical problems so that we can promptly report
them. It emphasizes how crucial it is to understand basic first aid and emergency protocols in
addition to being ready to help those in need. Furthermore, it emphasizes the need for

In the end, it makes us think and act, demanding that we give health and safety first priority in
every facet of school life. Because of this, it is crucial to cultivate a culture of resilience and
readiness within the school community in order to enable students to react composedly and self-
assuredly in times of crisis. Based on the Chaos Theory, which highlights the sensitivity of
complex systems to initial conditions and small perturbations, the health emergency serves as an
example of how seemingly insignificant events can turn into significant crises in the absence of
In order to lessen the impact of unanticipated occurrences on complex systems like schools, this
