KÖKSAN PET Packaging Industry Co. continues its production on a total land area of 256,000 square
meters in Gaziantep, encompassing a wide range of products. These include PET Resin, PET Preforms,
PET Bottles and Jars, PE Closures, PET Sheets, and various types of Flexible Packaging such as Stretch
Films, Cling Films, Shrink Films, Bubble Wrap, and Pet Flake. In addition, Köksan has facilities for Plastic
Pallet production and Plastic Recycling. The company also supplies raw materials to both its own
facilities and customers in the market, supported by a 50,000-ton modern liquid storage farm
established in Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone.
As Turkiye’s leading company in the PET and plastic packaging sector, Köksan exports to more than 100
countries and maintains its investments abroad. Köksan is an international investor with operations in
China, Senegal, Libya, and Iraq.
Köksan has transformed Turkiye from being an importer to an exporter of PET Resin. With an annual
production capacity of 500,000 tons, Köksan has strengthened its market position both domestically and
regionally, establishing Europe’s largest PET Resin plant under one roof.
In the production of PET Preforms, Köksan has an annual capacity of 240,000 tons at its major facilities in
Gaziantep and Sakarya/Hendek. The company produces transparent and colored PET Preforms in various
weights and neck types, suitable for cold, aseptic, and hot filling applications.
Köksan is highly committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. By the end of 2024,
Köksan plans to commence the production of 100% food-grade RPET resin with an annual capacity of
110,000 tons, utilizing its patented chemical recycling process of PET to Monomer (BHET) by glycolysis
reaction.
With a total line capacity of 22,500 tons per year for PET Sheet production, Köksan is also the largest
manufacturer in the region for PE Closures, including plastic handles and demijohn lids, with an annual
production capacity of 18,200 tons.
Köksan continually increases its production of flexible packaging, such as Stretch Films, Cling Films,
Shrink Films, and Bubble Wrap, reaching an annual capacity of 29,200 tons. The company generates six
thousand tons of PET flake washing and recycling per month using the latest technology in its Pet Flake
Facility. Moreover, Köksan has adopted the know-how for plastic pallet production and now
manufactures 43,200 industrial plastic pallets per month.
