Before you take your seat, kindly pick up

longest bridge in the Philippines.

The Calle Budin is the street where many
delicious Tayabas delicacies are sold.

Cassava cake or budin is a well-known
dessert in Tayabas, where it has a sweet
and chewy consistency.

Pancit habhab is the famous snack in
Tayabas. It has a long noodle and mixes
with different spices to make it tastier.

What is the degree of adjectives?

The Degree of Adjectives are the
following.
1. Positive Degree
2. Comparative Degree
3. Superlative degree
What is positive degree?
Positive degree used to describe a single
noun or a pronoun.
Big is a sample word in a positive degree
of adjective.
Like for example a car.
How do you describe a car? A car is big.
Now, let’s compare a car and a van
using the word bigger.
The van is bigger than the car.
That’s right and the degree of adjectives
that use is what we called comparative
degree.
What is comparative degree?
Comparative degree describes two
nouns or pronouns.
How about if we compare three or more
nouns or pronouns? What degree is that?
The degree used in comparing three or
more nouns or pronouns is what we
called superlative.
That’s right! Let’s try this example.
We have three different vehicles.
SCHOOL BUS VAN CAR
How would you differentiate the three
using the superlative degree of
adjective?
The school bus is biggest among the
three vehicles.
Very good! Let’s try another example.
This picture presents the group of
indigenous people in the Philippines.
How would you describe their height
using the degree of adjectives?
The girl in the left side is tall.
The girl in the middle is taller.
The girl in the right side is the tallest
among them.
Excellent! Now if someone in this class is in
part of the indigenous people how would
you treat them?

It is important to know because using this
we can describe and appreciate the
things, people, events, and place that
we encounter every day.

describing a noun?
Positive degree is used when describing
only one noun or pronoun.

degree?
A comparative degree is used when
describing two nouns or pronouns.
And last, how do you used superlative
degree of adjective? Superlative degree is used when
describing three or more nouns or
pronouns.

Student will be group into five (5) and do
the differentiated activity.
Before we proceed to our activity what is
our guidelines in doing the activity?
