MODEM/ROUTER SETUP GUIDE

1. Connect router/modem to a power source.

2. Connect the PC to the router/modem – Connection can be cabled by using an Ethernet Cable or
wireless by using a Wifi. The default wifi password can be found written on the body of the
moder/router.

3. Open a web browser – Any web browser will do. (Crome, Firefox, IE, Safari, Edge)

4. Go in the device website – The device website or IP address can be found written in the body of the
router/modem. You can go to the device website by typing the IP address on the address bar of the web
browser.

5. Input the device User Name and Password – The user name and password can be found written in the
body of the router/modem or it is provided by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) like Globe and Smart.
6. Click on the Wifi tab – Click the wifi Tab to go to the wifi setting.

7. Change the SSID – The SSID is the name broadcasted by your wifi connection. You can change it to any
name you want.

8. Change the Wifi Password – The wifi password can be changed to any characters you want. Click on
apply or submit to make the changes.

9. Click on the System tab – Click on the system tab to go to the change password tab. This password is
for the devices log in password.

10. Change the Password of the device – to change the password of the device you have to input the
current password and the new password. Click on apply or submit to make the changes.
