I. Introduction
The nature and purpose of quantitative research makes measurement important to
quantitative researchers. As already mentioned in the previous topic, quantitative researchers
examine precise concepts and issues that are the focus of their studies. Identifying the concepts
we will study , specifying the dimensions of these concepts , and defining their meaning only begin
the process of connecting our ideas to concrete observations
II. Learning Competencies
In this module, you should be able to:
1. Describe data collection methods in QR
2. Plan a data collection method of research
3. Construct an instrument for data collection
