Hythergraph

Like Climograph, Hythergraph was also introduced by G. Taylor in 1949. Hythergraph is also a
twelve sided diagram showing average monthly temperature and rainfall conditions at a
particular station. Hythergraph is drawn in just the same way in which a Climograph is drawn.
The rainfall data are plotted along x-axis and temperature are plotted along y-axis in relation to
their months. Hythergraph with twelve sides is obtained by joining the points. These are
principally used in summarizing broad climatic differences in relation to human activity, more
precisely in the context of settlement.
