Ishan mahajan JEE MAINS topics to score in

Study Priority Breakdown:

1. High Priority: These topics should be your primary focus. They have a higher
weightage and are relatively easy to score with practice.
○ Mathematics: Probability, Matrices & Determinants, Vector Algebra, Binomial
Theorem
○ Physics: Thermodynamics, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Laws
of Motion
○ Chemistry: Mole Concept, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Chemical Bonding,
s/p-Block Elements, Electrochemistry
2. Moderate Priority: After completing high-priority topics, these should be your next
focus. They are also relatively easy but carry slightly less weightage.
○ Mathematics: Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics, Sequences and Series,
Permutation and Combination
○ Physics: Units & Dimensions, Gravitation, Kinematics, Ray Optics
○ Chemistry: Chemical Kinetics, Solutions, Periodic Properties, Metallurgy,
Hydrocarbons

Here’s a **daily study schedule** based on the priority topics

for JEE Mains, considering you dedicate **2-3 hours on
weekdays** and **6-8 hours on weekends**. I’ve divided the
plan into **4 weeks of intensive study** for the high-priority
topics, followed by time for the moderate-priority ones.

### **Week 1: Mathematics Focus**

#### Day 1-2: **Probability**

- Study the basics of probability, conditional probability, and Bayes' theorem.
- Solve standard problems from past JEE papers (1-2 hours of problem-solving each day).

#### Day 3-4: **Matrices & Determinants**

- Revise key concepts: matrix operations, inverse, properties of determinants.
- Focus on solving problems involving matrix transformations and determinants.

#### Day 5-6: **Vector Algebra**

- Understand vector operations: addition, dot product, cross product.
- Solve problems from JEE question banks (1 hour of concept revision, 2 hours of
problem-solving).

#### Day 7 (Weekend): **Review and Problem-Solving**

- 2-3 hours of solving mixed problems from **Probability, Matrices, and Vector Algebra**.
- 1-2 hours of revision of key formulas and tricks for these topics.

---

### **Week 2: Physics Focus**

#### Day 1-2: **Thermodynamics**

- Review laws of thermodynamics, Carnot engine, and related concepts.
- Solve questions involving heat, work, and energy transfer. Spend at least 1-2 hours daily on
solving.

#### Day 3-4: **Current Electricity**

- Study Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s rules, and series-parallel circuits.
- Practice circuit-based problems (focus on solving 10-15 problems each day).

#### Day 5-6: **Electrostatics**

- Revise Coulomb’s law, electric field and potential, and capacitors.
- Solve questions related to point charges, conductors, and electric fields.

#### Day 7 (Weekend): **Review and Problem-Solving**

- 2-3 hours of mixed problem-solving from **Thermodynamics, Current Electricity, and
Electrostatics**.
- 1-2 hours of quick revision.

---

### **Week 3: Chemistry (Physical & Inorganic Focus)**

#### Day 1-2: **Mole Concept and Stoichiometry**

- Review the basics: molar mass, equivalent concept, and balancing reactions.
- Solve 10-15 problems focusing on reactions and molarity calculations.

#### Day 3-4: **Thermodynamics (Chemistry)**

- Study enthalpy, entropy, Gibbs free energy, and Hess’s law.
- Focus on solving problems involving enthalpy change and energy calculations.

#### Day 5-6: **Equilibrium (Chemical & Ionic)**

- Revise the equilibrium constant, Le Chatelier’s principle, and pH calculations.
- Spend time solving questions on equilibrium shifts and calculation-based problems.

#### Day 7 (Weekend): **Review and Problem-Solving**

- 2-3 hours of solving problems from **Mole Concept, Thermodynamics (Chemistry), and
Equilibrium**.
- 1-2 hours of revising key equations and solving a few more difficult problems.

---

### **Week 4: High-Priority Revision + Moderate Priority Focus**

#### Day 1-3: **Chemical Bonding and s/p-Block Elements**

- Review VSEPR theory, hybridization, and periodic trends.
- Focus on factual revision for s-block and p-block elements and solve memory-based
questions.

#### Day 4-5: **Work, Energy, and Power (Physics)**

- Revise work-energy theorem, conservative forces, and power.
- Solve problems involving energy conservation and potential energy.

#### Day 6-7 (Weekend): **Mixed Practice Session**

- 2-3 hours: Revise and solve **mixed questions** from the topics covered so far (Mathematics,
Physics, and Chemistry).
- 1-2 hours: Focus on moderate-priority topics like **Gravitation** and **Chemical Kinetics**.

---

### **Weeks 5-8: Moderate-Priority Topics + Full-Length Mock Tests**

For the next 4 weeks, you can focus on **moderate-priority topics**:

- **Mathematics**: Sequences and Series, Permutation and Combination, Statistics, etc.
- **Physics**: Gravitation, Kinematics, Ray Optics, etc.
- **Chemistry**: Solutions, Periodic Properties, Metallurgy, etc.

**Plan**:
- Dedicate **2 days per topic**, covering theory and problem-solving.
- Every **weekend**, focus on **mock tests** (2 full-length tests per weekend) and revision of
weaker areas.

---

### **Final Weeks: Review and Mock Tests**

- **Mock Test Strategy**: Take 2-3 full-length tests per week.
- **Daily Review**: Revise important formulas and problem-solving approaches.
- **Identify Weak Areas**: Focus on reviewing any weak topics during these final weeks.
