Rationale:
The objective of this course is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of metal cutting, machining operations,
and machine tool design. Students will learn about tool geometry, chip formation, mechanics of cutting, tool wear, and
machine tool drives. The course will also cover various machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, and
grinding.
