INTERNSHIP IN CYBERSECURITY

DESCRIPTION:-
Currently interning at Prodigy Infotech in the field of
cybersecurity. Prodigy Infotech is a software development
company which provide both real world and virtual
experience for students and other people.
The company’s main objective is to provide valuable
work experience to the interns and students which allows
them to gain practical skills and knowledge that can help
them in their future careers.
They provide opportunities to work on projects and
assignments that are relevant the fields.
They provide internships in other fields like Web
Development, Data Science, Machine Learning, Android
Development, Software Development.

ACTIVITIES:-
I am working under cybersecurity seniors and with
other interns where I was tasked with a several
responsibilities along with the introduction of what
activities to perform.
One of the primary tasks allotted to me was
analysing email spams and create a excel sheets about
the number of threats and malwares occurs.
They also let me take part in observing the use of
security tools necessary for analysing testing and
eliminating threats and ensuring secure connections are
the tasks which we might get allotted in near future.

WORK ALLOTTED:-
Initially I was assigned to perform python program for
various security algorithm including Caesar cipher and
Substitution cipher, then I was allotted monitoring network
traffic and system logs using Solar Winds and Event Logs.
SELF ASSESMENT:-
Until now I have strengthened my basics and am now
aware of what tools to be used in what situations, along
with it I have learned to observe and analyse the data flow
and network traffic. I have worked on my communication
and actively collaborated with other interns which has
made my communication skills better .Surely in near
future I might be able to learn more and progress even
further.
