P1 EXAMINATION – VOLLEYBALL BASIC HAND SIGNALS
Title: Volleyball Basic Hand Signals – Video Presentation
Task Objective: Students will develop and present a video demonstration that
highlights their proficiency in the basic hand signals used in volleyball. The
presentation should clearly introduce each hand signal, explaining its purpose within
the game. Students are expected to demonstrate each signal with precise
movements accurately.
Materials:
1. Open space (Upang Gym)
2. Proper attire (UPang PE Uniform)
3. Cellphone or video recorder
Task Description:
a) Volleyball Basic Hand Signals – the chosen members of the group will
demonstrate the 25 basic hand signals
(https://tinyurl.com/VolleyballBasicHandSignals), disregarding the hand
signals for the line judge. The other member/s of the group may serve as the
videographer, editor, etc.
b) Video Proper – The video should have a duration of 10 - 15 minutes. It must
begin with a brief introduction of the group, highlighting the members and
their roles to establish credibility and context. Following the introduction, the
group will provide a comprehensive demonstration of the hand signals,
ensuring that viewers can see each signal clearly and understand its
application. After the demonstration, there will be an in-depth explanation of
each hand signal, describing its meaning, when to use it, and any relevant tips
for proper execution. This structured approach will help viewers grasp both
the practical and theoretical aspects of the hand signals effectively.

d) Grading System – The exam is worth 50 points, divided into two sections of
25 points each. The first section focuses on the Video Presentation, evaluating
the quality and creativity of each student's work. The second section, Peer
Evaluation, assesses classmates' contributions and performances. This
structure encourages both individual work and collaboration among students.
Kindly check the rubrics in this link (https://tinyurl.com/PED033-
P1ExaminationRubrics).
e) Submission of the Output – The video presentation must be submitted by or
before January 11, 2025, at 11:59 PM. All groups must adhere to this deadline,
as any group that fails to submit their presentation on time will receive a score
of ZERO. Please ensure that your submission is complete and meets all
specified requirements to avoid any penalties.
f) Where to Submit – To successfully submit your video presentation, it is
essential that either the group leader or any designated member utilizes their
PHINMAEd Account for the upload process. Please access the provided Google
Drive link (https://tinyurl.com/PED033-P1ExaminationSubmission) to begin.
Once you are in Google Drive, navigate to your specific section, which can be
found within the designated folders. It is important to ensure that you upload
the video into the correct folder associated with your section to avoid
confusion.
Before finalizing the upload, please rename your video file to adhere to the
specified format: “Section_GroupNo.” For example, if your section is BSN2-03
and your group number is 1, the video should be renamed as “BSN2-
03_Group1.” This naming convention is crucial for the proper organization and
identification of submissions. Once everything is prepared, go ahead and
complete the upload process.
g) Peer Evaluation Score - Once the video presentation has been submitted, the
group leader will take the time to complete the Peer Evaluation Sheet. This
sheet is essential for providing feedback on each group member’s
contributions and collaboration throughout the project. To access the Peer
Evaluation Sheet, please refer to the Google Form linked here:
https://tinyurl.com/PED033-P1Exam-PeerEvalScore. All evaluations must be
