Lesson Planning
My Aims/Purposes
At the end of the activity, I should be able to:
a. identify the correct format of lesson plan for specific subject;
b. identify the different parts of a lesson plan for specific subject;
c. compare and analyze the formats of lesson plan introduced in the
campus and/or in cooperating school, and
d. develop a clear and legible lesson plan as required by the cooperating
teacher and supervising instructor integrating the suggestions.
My Responsibilities
Lesson planning is the teacher’s road map of what learners need to
learn and how it will be done effectively during the teaching-learning process. It
provides teachers with a general outline of teaching goals, learning objectives,
and means to accomplish them, and is by no means exhaustive. It is on this
note that teaching interns write lesson plans that function as blueprints in order
to achieve a quality, effective, and efficient teaching-learning process.
As a teaching intern, I should:
a. attend orientation regarding lesson planning;
b. identify the proper format of lesson plan per subject area;
c. draft a lesson plan and submit to cooperating teacher/ supervising
instructor for assessment and evaluation; and
d. write the final write-up of lesson plan.
My Observations (Reflections and Insights)

VI. REMARKS
VII. REFLECTION
2. Does the learning plan reflect principles of learning, and alignment across
goals, and assessments?
Yes. The first thing we need to include in the lesson plan is the learning
objectives. These objectives state what students should achieve by the end of
the lesson for that particular module. It is the students who will work toward
these goals, while the teacher's role is mainly to guide and support them. The
lesson should be designed in a way that helps students meet these objectives
through structured activities and discussions. In the assessment or activities
section, everything should be aligned with the learning objectives. The tasks
given to students should allow them to demonstrate their understanding and
skills based on the objectives. Lastly, the instructional strategies we use
should reinforce both the learning objectives and the assessments. Every
activity should serve a purpose in helping students learn effectively and reach
their goals.
3. If you are going to teach the lesson to the same group of learners, what
would you do differently? Why? What would you do the same? Why?
If I were to teach the lesson again to the same group of learners, I would
modify my approach based on their learning styles and comprehension
levels. For the lower sections, Eucalyptus and Gmelina, I would incorporate
more interactive and scaffolded activities to help them grasp the lesson more
effectively. This could include visual aids, hands-on activities, and more
guided practice to ensure they understand the key concepts before moving
on to more complex ideas. Additionally, I would provide more individualized
support and reinforcement to help struggling students build confidence and
retain the lesson better. Differentiating my teaching strategies for these
sections would allow me to cater to their specific needs and improve their
overall learning experience. On the other hand, I would maintain a similar

approach when teaching the higher sections, Narra and Acacia, since they
have already demonstrated a higher level of understanding and engagement.
I would continue using discussion-based learning, critical thinking exercises,
and group activities to challenge their comprehension and encourage deeper
analysis of the lesson. Since these students can process information more
independently, I would also implement inquiry-based learning, where they
can explore and apply concepts on their own with minimal guidance. Keeping
this approach for the higher sections ensures that they remain engaged and
motivated while developing their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
