fondly called Veera Mangai, was an Indian queen who waged a
war against British colonial rule.
• The logo for the games incorporates the figure of poet
Thiruvalluvar.
• Maharashtra leads the tally with the highest number of total
medals, followed by Haryana and Tamil Nadu.
• Maharashtra defended their Khelo India Youth Games title after topping the medals tally with 57 gold medals, 48
silver and 53 bronze.
• It was their fourth KIYG title.
