Firstly, we think that Thomas Edison was the
inventor of the light bulb, but that’s only because he
was the first one to make money from it. There
were lots of people working on the idea of the light
bulb in the 1870s.

Secondly, we think it changed the world by letting
people work at night, but that is not completely true
because gas lamps already existed.

Finally , the 5 main reason for my choice is that
people could use electricity in their homes and that
changed the world. Today we use it for everything.
Without the light bulb, we could still be in the dark.
