Ans - Superior holder means a land holder entitled to receive rent or land revenue from other inferior
landholders.
It does not matter whether such superior holder is accountable or not to the State Government - for
such rent or land revenue, or any part thereof.

Ans - "tenant" means a lessee - holding such lease either under an instrun1ent, or under an oral agreement.
