Introduction to Crystals:

 Crystals are considered highly sacred and powerful. They are well known and well
used since ancient times. Almost 30,00 years old.
 They are considered as earth element because they are found in earth.
 We have variety of gemstones and crystals around us (in lakhs).
 They are used as physical, emotional, spiritual healing, financial, spirit contact,
psychic development, holistic healing and a vast array of much more.
 Everyone is not okay to wear gemstones due to their high prices whereas crystals are
not much expensive as compared to gemstones. There are over 1 lsakh types of
crystals.
 People cannot wear more than 2-3 gemstones at a time. Also, it may or may not suit
you based on the astrological reasons.
 Crystals can be used by anyone for any situation or requirement. They suit everyone.
 You start to discover and heal yourself through crystals as they transform us. You just
have to have faith in them.
 Different crystals have different healing properties. They heal and clean you from
inside.
 They will release all the negativities from within you and then will show you the
positive results.
  There are 7-8 types of uses of each crystal. One can heal chakra also with crystals.

- There are different types of stones, gems and crystals and they all work
in different ways.
 Tumbled stones and small natural crystals can be found in a wide variety of minerals
and are easy to carry and use.
 Larger clusters of minerals are very useful for charging and cleansing of other gems
and magical jewelry.
 The larger single hand held crystals and wands are wonderful for meditation and for
directional healing of specific body parts.

We may choose to wear a particular gem as an adornment in a piece of jewelry so that we

may take advantage of its energies and healing power on a regular basis.

Programming Crystals
 Crystals carry programming (energies) from where we purchase the crystals. They
have an existence of energies which we might not want (lots of people and hand
touches it before reaching you).
 So, we need to unprogramme the crystals first so that we can programme it
according to us and direct it to us.
 We program to direct the energy towards a specific wish and goal and in your name.
 There is a blank database in each crystal. Each crystal stores energy which we put in
it.

- Techniques used with crystals

 A simple method is writing a thought on a piece of paper then placing a crystal on top
to absorb the thought energy.
 You can also program your crystal by holding it in your hand then breathing in
through your nose; hold the thought in your mind of what you want, then forcefully
breath out (snort) into the crystal through your nose. Do this on each side of the
crystal to program it.
 Another method is with reiki. Hold your crystal in palms. Draw reiki symbols upon the
crystal with just hands (visualize). State your intention and charge the crystal with
reiki.
 Hold your crystal few inches from third eye. Beam white light from third eye into the
crystal. State and visualize your wish being fulfilled. Place it somewhere with safety
or at your altar.
 If you are charging for others then do take their name and/or imagine their face.
Programme it as per their needs.

cleansing as they draw off so many

How to Clean your Crystals

Cleansing crystal is the most important thing to do. Cleansing removes all the previous
programming too. So once cleansed charge and program your crystals. Cleansing should be
done on a regular basis (when needed or 40 days whichever falls 1st). Clean the cluster
also. Below are the ways to clean your crystals:

 SALT WATER: Add salt to water and soak crystals for few hours in salt water. Not all
crystals resonate with salt and water, so check before soaking crystals. Maximum 1
hour.

 DRY SALT: Place your crystals in a bowl of dry sea salt/rock salt/Himalayan salt.
Maximum 1 hour.

 RUNNING WATER: Hold your crystal under a tap, stream, rain water or any form of
fresh running water. Imagine all the accumulated negative energy flowing away with
running water. Maximum 1 hour.

 EARTH: Bury your crystals in your garden, planter or backyard. Alternatively, gather
some soil in a container and bury your crystal. After removing, wipe it clean and make
sure no soil particles are left.

 BREATHE: Hold your crystal in your palm and blow forcefully on your crystal.
Imagine you are blowing a white light over crystals, keep blowing till you feel your
crystal is shiny or simply blow thrice with the intention to cleanse.

 FLAME: Just rotate your crystal 7 times over a candle flame to cleanse it. You can
even pass your crystal quickly through flame.
  SMUDGING: Use sage or incense stick to cleanse the crystal. Simply pass your
crystal through sage/incense stick smoke.

 REIKI: Give Reiki with the intention to remove negative energy from the crystal.

 BELL OR SINGING BOWL: The vibration of the bell or the singing bowl has the
power to cleanse your crystals. Just play the sound of bell/singing bowl near the
crystals.

 SELENITE / CITRINE / CARNELIAN: Selenite is considered as „Universal Stone

Cleaner‟. It does not need cleansing. Simply place your crystal over a selenite/citrine
cluster or place these clusters over your crystal. You can put all crystals in a box and
program your selenite/citrine/carnelian to cleanse all crystals in the box

 BEACH: Going to a beach? Take your crystal along and cleanse with sea water.

 PENDULUM: Program your pendulum to cleanse the crystal and hold it over your
crystal.

 THIRD EYE: Direct white light on your crystals with your third eye with the set
intention.

 CRYSTAL CLUSTERS / GEODE: Some crystals (citrine, carnelian, and selenite)

don‟t need frequent cleansing. They can be used to cleanse other crystals too.
Simply place your crystals on the geode or cluster.

 PLANTS: Lay your crystal besides your favourite flower or plant. Plants have the
natural ability to transmute negative energy to positive energy.

 PYRAMID DOME: The shape of a pyramid itself is very powerful. Place your crystals
under the pyramid dome. Pyramid dome neutralizes the accumulated negative
energy of crystals when placed inside the dome.

 FLOWER ESSENCE: Soak flower petals of any flower in water for few hours. Fill this
water in a spray bottle and spray on crystals.

Meditation with Crystals

Follow meditation practice to connect with your crystals and you will feel much more calm,
peaceful and connected.
  Use a green crystal as your focus of attention. Sit comfortably on the floor or on a
yoga mat. Position the green crystal in front of you, or hold the green crystal in both
hands. Green is for grounding, connection, cooling the negative thoughts, healing
and energies. If you don‟t have a green crystal, then imagine that it is present in your
hands.

 Clear your mind; with your eyes opened gently focus on the crystal. Rest gently and
become mindful of your breathing. Practice meditative breathing while still focusing
on your crystal, begin to relax deeply.

 After several minutes of deep breathing, close your eyes. Imagine that you are
breathing in clear and calm green light which is coming to you from your crystal.
Imagine that the light energy from the crystal contains healing rays of tranquillity,
serenity and peace. Imagine that your spirit is gently merging with the energy from
the crystal.

 Gently open your eyes. Sit quietly for a few moments and allow your mind to focus on
your intentions. Before ending your exercise, tell yourself that you are in a state of
calm, relaxed vibrant energy and say…

“I AM Peaceful, calm, healthy and balanced.”
