Monitor Obbo Moves to Kenya

CHARLES Onyango (right), a founder and member and managing editor The monitor, has

been transferred to Nairobi, in a major restricting by the nation media group (NMG).

He becomes the managing editor in charge of media convergence and syndication for the

group’s multimedia editorial operations in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The transfer

takes effect on January 15 next year. Obbo will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.

“It will kill me”, said Obbo when asked whether he would miss working at the monitor.
