I assist JICA experts in the project called the Project for the Improvement of
Regional Roads Governance in collaborations with the Ministry of Public Works
and Housing (Kementerian PUPR).
My responsibilities include:
translating documents related to roads maintenance and repair and
regulations in Indonesia related to road sector;
visiting the two pilot sites (Sukabumi City and Tebing Tinggi City)
together with JICA experts to conduct road inspection, gather data from
the PU agency staff in both cities, as well as open discussions regarding
pilot projects.
liaising between JICA experts and project counterparts: Public Work
Agency in two Pilot Cities, Bina Marga, CRIF/PFID, etc.
serving as an interpreter in various workshops (E-learning workshop)
and discussions, especially in the two pilot cities in Sukabumi and
Tebing Tinggi, and other agenda with CRIF staff in the Ministry of Public
Works, KIAT, Bina Marga, and Polytechnic of PU.
Serving as an assistant manager whose responsibilities include:
arranging meetings between JICA experts and project counterparts,
receiving emails and inquiries from the two pilot cities and project
counterparts and giving the feedback or responses to them, arranging
transport and accommodation for business trips, and assisting in office
management.
