Recognition Day Script

Masters of Ceremony: Mr. Andonga & Mrs. Lim

I. Processional

(Background music playing as the participants enter.)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Ladies and gentlemen, let us all rise to welcome our student awardees, their proud
parents, teachers, school personnel, and esteemed guests. Let us honor their hard
work and dedication as they enter the venue."

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"Let us also welcome the entrance of colors, symbolizing the spirit of excellence and
unity. Please remain standing as we proceed to the Nationalistic Songs."

II. Nationalistic Songs (NCR Hymn & Valenzuela Hymn – Audio Visual
Presentation)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Please remain standing as we listen to the NCR Hymn and the Valenzuela Hymn, a
tribute to our beloved region and city."

III. Prayer

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"To invoke the presence of the Almighty, let us bow our heads and pray. Leading us in
prayer is Alexa Arleigh De Jesus from Grade 10 Verceles."

(Pause for the prayer.)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Thank you, Alexa, for that solemn prayer. You may now be seated."

IV. Opening Remarks

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"To formally open today’s momentous event, let us welcome our esteemed principal,
Mr. Nolasco H. Sablan, for his inspiring words."

(Pause for speech.)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Thank you, Sir, for that heartfelt message."

V. Conferment of Academic Awards (Grades 7 & 8)

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"And now, we begin the highlight of today's program—the conferment of academic
awards for our hardworking students. May we call on one of our Academic Excellence
Awardee, Mr. John Clark B. Tala, from 10-Cadizon together with the Grade Level
Chairpersons to present the awards for Grades 7 and 8."

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Calling on Master Teacher II, Mrs. Charito Cherry M. Tabinas, followed by Head
Teacher III of the Department of English, Mrs. Armina Angela C. Cereno, to present
the awards."

(Pause for the awarding.)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Congratulations to all our awardees! Your hard work and perseverance have truly
paid off."

VI. Intermission Number

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Now, let us take a break and enjoy a special performance prepared by our talented
students. Please welcome Jondy P. Andonga and Elrick C. Alvarez from the MAPEH
Department!"

(Pause for performance.)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"What an amazing performance! Let’s give them another big round of applause!"

VII. Conferment of Academic Awards (Grades 9 & 10)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"We now proceed with the awarding for Grades 9 and 10. Again, may we call on Mr.
John Clark B. Tala, from 10-Cadizon with Mr. Bienvenido G. Ignacio Jr., Master
Teacher I, followed by Mrs. Elaine A. Palo, Head Teacher III of the Filipino
Department, to present the awards."

(Pause for the awarding.)

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"Once again, congratulations to all our awardees!"

VIII. Special Recognition & Special Awards

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"At this point, we acknowledge individuals who have gone above and beyond in their
academic journey. To present the Special Recognition, Special Awards, and Awards for
Teachers, we call on our principal, Mr. Nolasco H. Sablan."

(Pause for awarding.)

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"To all our awardees, your excellence is a testament to your dedication. Keep striving
for greatness!"

IX. Oath-Taking Ceremony (SSLG Officers)

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Leaders are not born; they are made. Today, we officially welcome our new set of
student leaders. To administer the oath-taking of the Supreme Secondary Learners
Government (SSLG) Officers, we call on their adviser, Mr. Gabriel M. Magay."

(Pause for oath-taking.)


🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"Congratulations to our new SSLG officers! May you serve with passion and integrity."

X. Closing Remarks

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"As we come to the conclusion of today’s event, we invite Mrs. Armina Angela C.
Cereno, School Curriculum Implementation Coordinator, to deliver the closing
remarks."

(Pause for speech.)

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"Thank you, Ma’am, for those inspiring words."

XI. VRNHS Hymn

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"Let us now rise for the singing of the Valenzuela National High School Hymn."

(Pause for hymn.)

XII. Recessional

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"As we close this momentous occasion, let us send off our awardees with pride and
joy. Thank you all for celebrating with us. May you continue to shine brightly!"

🎤 Mrs. Lim:
"This has been Mrs. Lim…"

🎤 Mr. Andonga:
"…and Mr. Andonga, your Masters of Ceremony. Thank you, and have a wonderful
day!"
