HOMEWORK(SPEAKING)
1) Where is your hometown?
I’m orginially from Binh Phuoc province. It is
located at the Southern of Vietnam, but my
studies brought to Hanoi which is the capital
of Vietnam.
2) Do you like your hometown? Why and
why not?
Not really because it was only fun when we –
me and my old friends were there. Now they
all moved to the city. Moreover it is also very
difficult for me to find some specific items in
the local store unlike in Hanoi.
3) What is your hometown famous for?
My Hometown is well known for cashew.
Sometimes people call it the capital of
cashew. It is type of nut which is sweet, a
little bit salty and very high nutritious.
4) Is your hometown a good place for young
people to live?
To be honest living in my hometown isnt
goona be very bad but for young people i
think that it is a big no because as i said
before it is very difficult to find some items
because the lack of product diversity.
5) How has your hometown changed over
the years?
It has changed a lot over the years. It used
to be much quieter and more greenery than
right now. Now its busier with new
businesses and more people moving in. On
the bright sight, now there are more
restaurants, entertainment options, and
modern buildings. The schools and hospitals
facilities have enhanced improving people’s
lives.
6) What do you like most about your
hometown?
Like i mentioned before, i don’t really like
my hometown but if i have to choose one
thing that i like the most, i’d choose the
peaceful atmosphere and quiet streets
there. The fresh air, open spaces, and gentle
rhythm of life create a sense of calm that is
hard to find elsewhere. It really helps me to
relax at the end of the day.
7) Are there any places of interest in your
hometown?
Yes, there are. There are a few places for
visitor to visit. The most prominent among
them is Bà Rá mountain. It is the highest
peak in the province, also a historical site
with remnants of wartime prisons and a
memorial for fallen soilders.
8) What kind of weather does your
hometown have?
My hometown located at the southern of
Vietnam so it only have two seasons which
is the dry season and the wet season. The
wet season lasts from may to october and
can be easily recognized beacause the rain
appear with heavy frequency and for the dry
one. It last from nov to apirl with the burning
sunlight and high temperture.
9) Would you like to live in your hometown
in the future? Why or why not?
It depends on career opportunities and
lifestyle preferences. If my hometown offers
good job prospects, a comfortable
environment, and a high quality of life, I
would consider living there. However, if I
find better opportunities elsewhere, I might
choose to live in a different place while still
visiting my hometown often
10) Is there anything you would like to
change abt your hometown in the future?
I think that with the development of
industrial, the raise of factory and the
increase of immigrants. It will lead to the
downfall of the quality of enviroment. In the
future i hope that the local authoritiy will do
smthing to solve this problem.
11) Do many tourists visit your hometown?
Why and why not?
I don’t think that there aren’t many just a
few. Despite the lack of product diversity,
tourist attraction and local food, it is still a
good place to get yourself relaxed and
escape the busy astmosphere of the city.
