NOTIFICATION
To maintain the standards of professionalism and academic decorum, Hamdard University (HU)
has specified a dress code policy applicable to all HU students with the objective to ensure and
uphold the values of professionalism, modesty, and academic integrity in their appearance. The
dress code requirements are being once again notified to all students for strict compliance.
Students must dress in a clean, neat, and well-presented manner in accordance with prescribed
standards. The following clothing is not permitted for students at Hamdard University:

Students are permitted to wear casual clothing on Fridays only, with the condition that appearance
must still be neat and respectful. It must be noted that all forms of prohibited clothing remain
unacceptable even on Fridays. Non-compliance with the dress code policy will result in
disciplinary action by the HUIC Disciplinary Committee and /or respective Departmental
Committees of faculties.
All Associate Deans to ensure compliance to the dress code envisaged under the HU policy.
