1. Tell me about yourself and why you are interested in the.
I am a recent gradute of engineering student from Universitas Indonesia.
My hobbies are working out and listening to podcast. As for now, I don’t have any commitment
that requries to do frequent daily task
My daily routine is working out and lately to fill my spare time, currently I am in love with
2
exploring personal health from nutrition and how to do the right movement in the gym.
I was a laboratory assistant at Statistics and Quality Engineering. It's a laboratorium that acts
under statistics related and how we apply those into whatever domains. For example, one of
study cases we learn is about Nike to discover the best combinations of ingredients and
materials to produce a pair of shoes.
Besides, my last internship, it was in consulting firms, I involved in the project transportation-
logistic and the discussion we did a lot was about how do we benchmark the best cases in the
world so we can put some of their strategies into our own. we did benchmark from Japan
transporation facilities.
As someone who has a solid background in data analytics and information sysmtem --- I have
learned those two from mutilple projects in college -- and specifically for data analytics, I have
been doing since my high school graduation as I was into artificial intelligence along the way
discoved a part of ai, which is machine learning and data science.
I consider myself as a unique candidate as I have a solid background from supply chain while
also expert in data analytics and programming --- a combincation that even those who come
from computer science may not have.
. What do you know about Twimbit
It is a management consulting firm focusing on purpose-driven values that take into account five
stakeholders: customers, employees, shareholders, partners, and the planet.
It is fulfilling to apply what you have learned to real-world experiences and have a positive
impact. From my understanding of LinkedIn, this project involves a lot of business case
competitions for undergraduates.
I have a range of experiences joining business case competitions, and I am grateful that some of
them resulted in victories.
First, I think the first important variable is the character trait, and I see myself as curious and
positive person who likes exploring things by myself. Besides, I also consider myself as someone
who is great to work independently and as a part of team as I realised this from my past
experience when it comes to solving cases as a team in business case competitions.
Another one is I am willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn.
The second variable is my experience that I've participated in several business case
compeititons and has an internship experience in consulting firm before.
The third is, what I like as well from this role is how to develop improvement for customer
experiences. As personally, I do like things when it comes to how something can be improved
with knowledge and skills I have. It was always been fulfilling when I could create something
better and it worked.
The forth is I have no issue with the work arrangement that requries 3 days work from office and
2 days from home.
. Describe a time when you faced a significant challenge in a team setting. How did you
handle it?
When I was in my beginner journey in my last previous internship in consulting field, I knew that
there were a range of things that they shouldnt be like that based on the theory and best
prcatices I learn from college. But, turns out that what they do were the standrard of company
alraedy implemented --- and I couldn't come as newcomer and change the whole what they had
been already doing. Hence, I was aware that adapation was really important. What you learn from
college doesn't always fit into real life sitatuion, and in this case in work environment
. How do you prioritize tasks when you have multiple deadlines to meet?
Use Eisenhower matrix (people often call it impact-effort matrix) to drag and drop which task is
included in quadrant urgent important until not urgent not important -- considering the time and
ease of completion for each task.
Besides, to get things done, I often use Pomodoro technique that blocks out my time for 30-60
minutes focus doing on that one task. Finish or not, I would take 10-15 minutes to rewire my brain
and come back with another 60 minutes with more fresh.
. How do you handle failure or setbacks in a project?
I tend to forget things easily. I really realised when I was in my first semester which I was taking
lots of activities, attending college classes, joining organisations, kepanitiaan, and so on and so
forth. I can tell you, I was so overwhelmed at that time and I did realise that one of the reasons I
felt so is because I was so messed up especially when it came to accountability. That’s why from
my third semester till now on, I have so many notes in my laptop and phone, I put it on Notes
iPhone or macbook which they are all integratred.
Validate with notes and meet they are expecting
● Opportunities
They are so many oppurtunities nowadays for us to get to know something. There are so many
great resources to learn something on internet; the free and the paid one. There are youtube,
journal, article, and so on and so forth. There are also the paid ones, coursera, udemy,
bootcamp, and etc.
The combination of my do-love-exploring things and opportunities, many learning resources out
there, could be a great thing for me personally as a privilege nowadays
Besides that, there are also organisations and communities which involve in great things for my
growth and development, such ShARE, a platform that give an exceptional leadership program to
its member
● Threats
There are lots of people out there who are better than me. Especially when it comes to want to
get the opportunity like what I said before, It will take much effort to get it.
What motivates you to work in the supply chain field?
I do like exploring things. I consider myself a curious and positive person who likes to bring
positive nuances in every single moment and situation in my life.
Besides my main major which is industrial engineering, I also do love exploring things such as
digital marketing, product management, ui/ux design, and web development.
My motto is self-education and self-experiment. Because I believe that what set us apart from
the crowd is what we learn and experience beyond college and formal education. That's why I
like incorporate what I got in college with the things outside class.
a little bit funfact. ive been learning data science and its related even before I announced
formally as college student. this came from the interest of mine in artificial intelligence and in
total, it's been around 3
I would also say that I have a unique selling point that others who are the applicants might not
have, I have involved in data science stuff for about 3 years which I started exploring this before I
was entering college by myself.
I even took elective courses in my seventh semester
