Findings
Simple linear regression analysis was conducted to evaluate
the extent to which [ethical consumption awareness] could
predict [willingness to pay and adopt a slow fashion lifestyle].
A significant regression [was] found (F([2],[221])
= [193.37], p = [< .001]). The R2 was [.46], indicating
that [ethical consumption awareness] explained
approximately [46]% of the variance in [willingness to pay and
adopt a slow fashion lifestyle]. The regression equation was:
[willingness to pay and adopt a slow fashion
lifestyle] = [2.51] + [.42]([ethical consumption awareness]).
That is, for each one [IV unit of measurement] increase
in [ethical consumption awareness], the predicted [willingness to
pay and adopt a slow fashion lifestyle] [increased] by
approximately [.42] [DV unit of measurement].
Confidence intervals indicated that we can be 95% certain
that the slope to predict [willingness to pay and adopt a slow
fashion lifestyle] from [ethical consumption awareness] is
between [.36] and [.49].
